  5. They do seem to change the goal posts on whim for UK bookings.
  6. I have had it refused in the past, but not always.

  8. I was informed through my broker Towergate Health and Protection that 2021 will be the last year for renewal as AXA ppp Travel Insurance is finishing and AXA are concentrating on Health, hence the name change to AXA Health.
  9. AXA are stopping Travel Insurance this year and concentrating on Health, shame as I did have an annual policy that gave blanket cover without declaring any health issues, as long as Dr stated fit to travel. Interesting that Cover for you is also underwritten by AXA.
  10. *Shareholder benefit will not be granted if your booking is booked through as Friends and Family offer, TIS (Travel Industry Services) or a complimentary booking. All other fares types are currently combinable with shareholder benefits. Sharholder benefits need to be applied no later than three weeks prior to sail date That is shown here https://ask.completecruisesolution.com/help/ext/PO/why-book-with-us/more-info-share-holder So changing the rules ?
  11. Looking at the Menu in the restaurants , I don't think anything is special. If a group, then Gunbae could possibly be fun. But the app is so difficult to use. Looking forward to the first 3 day on 6th Aug however, The pay for Lectures Pillow Talk with Dr A at £18.62 and Let's Role play (an introduction to role play in the bedroom) at £18.62 Is certainly different .
  12. It will be managed by the Cruise Ship, they will recoup some loses if tours only in bubbles.
  13. Can anyone remember what draught Larger was available please with P&O
  14. It appears reading these Threads that Celebrity are not doing a very good job. MSC who started UK staycations had all the testing down to a fine art. Tested prior to boarding at the Port, Temperature checks each morning and a further antigen test midweek.
  15. If you have just updated your Cabin then perhaps like other companies you have to wait until their system updates over night.
  16. A whiteboard which is coloured White, that replaced blackboards, you had to use special whiteboard pens to write on them.
  17. Not quite Southampton, Thats Fareham 13 miles from Southampton. Not Eurofins but there is a test centre in West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton https://www.theregenerativeclinic.co.uk/southampton-covid-19-pcr-testing-same-day-and-next-day-covid-19-pcr-service/
  18. CocoCronut said Yea I wasn’t sure if the lack of availability for singles was to do with lack of extra spend they would have on board…but who knows. Replying, Always thought the excuse for solos paying a supplement for lack of spend was "an excuse" as usually solos spend more anyway . Most staycations except P&O and Cunard include a drinks package anyway,
  19. Cover for you is all available to download on line. Do not know about staysure, Do a quote and choose the best one for your needs. https://www.coverforyou.com/faqs_travel.php We understand that some cruise lines require proof of this cover so we have issued a confirmation of cover letter as follows: UK Cruise to nowhere - download UK Coastal Cruise - download All other Cruises - download
  20. Obviously most did not read the small print, although I did hear about a passenger on the NHS COVID testing scheme who although had two jabs, and had letters from the NHS saying they were not to be disadvantaged, they were unable to produce a valid letter/app showing the two Jabs conformation.
  21. Celebrity Cruises Silhouette ex Southampton are insisting on 2 jabs plus a PCR test 72hrs before sailing, which is causing passengers problems trying to book PCR Test for 72hrs before sailing day. Celebrity will reimburse the cost up to £100 or you can select a list from their testers nationwide, but apparently there are not many of them. Children under 18 get an antigen test at the Port.
  22. The Noticeable and unhygienic thing I noticed that a lot of passengers on Virtuosa were doing , as they sat down at a table they would remove their mask and place it on the table instead of placing it their pocket. They would later move away from that table and other guests would rush to that table before it had been sanitized and do the same thing. You would not place a handkerchief on a table so why a face mask ?
  23. MSC for Cruises on Virtuosa had similar for tracking, but that was a waterproof wrist band like a fitbit Charge 4 but without a clock face. You could charge your account and open cabin door with it.
  24. The White Building is a listed building and is part of The Royal Pier and is home to the award winning Kutis Indian Brasserie, next to the Red Funnel Ferry at Royal Pier. It re opens on 21st July 2021 https://www.kutis.co.uk/
