  1. Delayed into Zeebrugge this morning, but will hopefully be docked by 11am. Nice cruise so far, younger crowed as expected. Friend is enjoying Queen Anne so far. Attended the 2026/2027 launch “event” yesterday, but was told about the form I had already received (and filled out) on the previous voyage. Happily took a free drink, though.
  2. I got a few quick ones, but as it’s said to be changed, take it with a pinch of salt so to say. If you want anymore/different ones, I can retake next Southampton.
  3. I was told by the pursers I wasn’t allowed to use that gangway as it was for the crew.
  4. Additionally, if you just pay the Cunard Fare deposit, if something comes up you can still move it (only the once though) - it may be 3 years away, but you have that flexibility up until 90 days before departure.
  5. AirPods acquired with some quick brunch, back onboard at 11:30 - super quick reboarding considering there was no in transit gangway!
  6. Quick summary of the trip while I have some tea and wait for the crowds to die down! I didn’t post as much as I’d have liked to during the cruise given my days were very repetitive, but relaxing. That being said, this was a nice cruise. I enjoyed the multiple sea days, and the ports we visited given most were new to me. I met some great people & made some new friends, which was nice as a solo traveller. I will say that I did notice a lack of manners from lots of people on this cruise, even a basic thank you was few & far between. Definitely the older side this cruise as well, which isn’t a problem for me. With it being 19 nights, I never expected anyone even close to my age range being onboard. Service continues to be great, at least for me, though other than the cigar lounge (when ordering a drink) I stuck to my favourite bar 1840 because the staff are just beyond fantastic there. Food still of a good quality, and the few times I did go to the Britannia it was always as you’d expect. The rougher weather was enjoyable for me, I liked following along on the AIS. As someone doing her first crossing next year, I was a little worried about bad weather, but now I am comfortable with whatever may come. Will come back again, obviously.. 😂
  7. It’s a nice morning, a little chilly when I went out on deck, so only 1 lap. I have to pop out to get some new AirPods, as I’ve somehow lost them on this trip! Disembarkation seems a little slow from what I’ve seen in the past, very large queues. This time however, with my new cruise card, I was given an “in-transit pass” that I need to use when leaving & joining to the ship, in the terminal (I assume to skip check in), as well as use the crew shuttle.
  8. Honestly I didn't have a problem with the people in there. They stayed for a while, and were all sociable. I was in the far corner so was able to enjoy a cigar without their smoke affecting me, but even if it did its not their fault Cunard put their spot in such a bad location.
  9. Just as a PSA to anyone who’s a cigar smoker, at least on this cruise (unsure on the others, as I didn’t use it in the past), but they’re allowing cigarette smokers in there too. It’s not their fault of course, it’s the crazy bad smoking area the ship does have, however it’s resulted in ash trays having cigarette butts in, as well as their being a bin of them in the corner.
  10. Plenty of room thankfully! There was space for 5 voyages on the form. Unsure if you’d be able to request another one, but probably so.
  11. Understandably most entertainment has been cancelled today, but someone has had the bright idea of playing the movie “Twisters” in the theatre.. maybe not the best content given the current Florida situation!
  12. Unfortunately Captain Thorhauge had to disembark yesterday due to a personal matter, so we have a temporary captain flown in from Italy currently. It’s been nice to have her as a captain, I’ve never had much of a chance to be on the same ship as her in the past given my Queen Mary 2 loyalty.
  13. Well… the form to fill in certainly isn’t in my hands anymore 🤣
  14. I’m just sharing what AIS was reporting at 6:40 this morning, and since that’s what the ship is setting, it must be somewhat accurate.
  15. Received this onboard Queen Anne this morning:
  16. I’ve said it before on this forum, and I’ll say it again now: for me, this is no longer an excuse for me to justify spending thousands to go on a ship that isn’t getting the “love” it deserves from it’s owners, and not get the service expected. I also appreciate I’m taking the money on keeping it in Cunard by sailing on Queen Anne, but I digress on that point 🤣
  17. It was definitely worth the wait by the window I think! I reckon it’ll calm down by the afternoon, wind speed & wave height are dropping off slightly now. Will let you know in 4 hours 😉
  18. Bumpy road on the way back from Lisbon as expected during the night and into this morning. 7.4 meter waves was the highest I saw on AIS and wind marked as “Strong gale” - we’ve slown down a bit now. I must say, ship is handling it really well, at least to me. Fortunately I don’t suffer from sea sickness, so it’s been a pleasant rocking and rolling for me. IMG_8760.mov
  19. It’s a bit of fun! Rocks you to sleep as well
  20. Thank you! Yes, it was a bit bumpy last night as well. 3 meter waves according to the AIS, and the ships ahead were doing a bit higher. So I had suspected we'd maybe have some bad weather for at least a day on our return trip.
  21. Pavilion Pool has been closed this evening for maintenance which will continue into tomorrow. Unsure if it will remain that way until we get to Southampton
  22. Even with lie flat seats I can’t get a wink of sleep unless I’ve been awake for 15+ hours. Envy people who can. Sorry to hear about your poor taxi experience, charge back definitely sounds like the best course of action there. Interestingly, your fish and chips plate looks very similar to what they have on Queen Mary 2! Hope you have a great time in London, welcome!
  23. Queen Anne must think she’s in Germany (or German!) as most sites redirect to the German counterpart (including Cunard’s own site!).
  24. I was able to access the site, but not stream as I wasn’t in the U.K.
