There are cabins on Carnival Venezia that have hammocks.

Occasionally I see ship personnel eating at the buffet. They seem to be officers. Are they the only ones allowed to do this?

Hello. I'm sailing on Venezia in April. What pier does Venezia dock in New York? Are taxis waiting when you disembark? Are there chairs on the promenade deck? Do they offer a "behind the scenes" tour? Thank you.

I was watching the webcam of Scarlet Lady leaving port. Why don't they just make a right turn into the channel instead of doing a 270 degree turn in the basin?

I had a deposit on a cruise on Freedom in April. The balance was due February 15. I won't be able to make the cruise, so I assumed that when I didn't pay the balance by the due date, they would immediately cancel the reservation. However, four days later the reservation is still open. Do they keep reservations open until somebody wants the same cabin?

Through Carnival, I just booked "Mountain Views And City Sights" for Amber Cove.
