  1. Hoping someone can help. The more I read the more confused I get. We are booked on a Rhine River cruise through Avalon Waterways in April. Do we need a power adapter or a converter, or both? So many options and my head is spinning! A link to something that has actually been used and worked well would be great. Thank you!
  2. Nothing has changed. According to their website, trips into the Yukon will resume in 2023.
  3. The photo that I posted was taken during the first week of June. It was open then. The cost was included in the shore excursion that we were on, so I guess I didn't even think of whether it was worth the expense or not.
  4. I would suggest a stop at Emerald Lake if you can. It's really beautiful. The Yukon Suspension Bridge is kind of a neat stop also.
  5. No it does not. It cannot be done prior to 72 hours before you embark. It can be done anytime between then and your sail date. You can enter most of your info at any time though (passport, vaccination status etc.) You just have to do the final health stuff and finish it up within that 72 hour window. You can also add your niece as a traveler and put her info in on your app.
  6. I can't remember exactly, but it had something to do with the address section. We received really good instructions on how to do everything after we had already done it. I may still have that paperwork. If I do I can pass it along later.
  7. We put in our info a couple of days before we sailed. But then once we boarded we found out that we didn't enter some things quite right, so we did it over.
  8. Just thought I'd throw in a positive comment on our experience. We were on the Royal from June 4 to June 11. We (three couples) made reservations on the app in advance, but I warned my traveling companions that we may have trouble due to all of the posts I've seen. We had absolutely zero problems. They had our reservations and we got the same table and wait staff each night. No begging required. Everything was as smooth as it could have been.
  9. We just disembarked last Saturday (June 11). I asked about that on the ship the night before and was told that we should see the credit on our credit card account in five business days. We'll see....
  10. We just returned from a Whittier, AK to Vancouver, BC cruise. We went into Canada for a tour out of Skagway. We were not asked for our ArriveCAN documentation at any point.
  11. I am totally confused on ArriveCAN. We are cruising out of Whittier with a stop in Victoria. We will be entering Canada before that though, on an excursion out of Skagway. When I first start entering info into ArriveCAN, do I use the land entry or marine entry?
  12. Why would you have to take a test for this excursion? You've already tested before embarkation and Canada does not have a testing requirement to enter the country.
  13. I would think you would be fine as long as you have your passport and have completed the ArriveCan App. No testing needed.
  14. You will not need to test since you are flying to and from the US. You will, however, need to complete the ArriveCan App before you embark since you have a stop in Victoria.
  15. What does the NAVICA App do that just logging into Emed.com doesn't?
  16. I'm confused on this also. We embark from Whittier/Anchorage on 6/4. The first time we will get into Canada is when we take a bus trip into the Yukon out of Skagway on 6/7.Then we get to Victoria on 6/10 and disembark in Vancouver on 6/11. What's required in ArriveCan?
  17. Nothing below that? I have what you show above, but then at the bottom of the screen in light blue print it has MedallionNet Support Princess Promise
  18. We are doing an Alaskan cruisetour with Princess and have been told (verbally) that they will do the testing before we leave Denali to board the ship. We haven't seen that in writing, however, so we are taking an extra test that can be proctored just in case.
  19. When you are on your opening screen in the app, do you see three lines on the top right side? If you click on that, a white screen should open up. Down toward the bottom should be an option for MedallionNet. Maybe that will work for you?
  20. They definitely could have used a more attractive cold color, that's for sure.
  21. Pretty sure this is a bus-only tour so it should be running. We have that one booked during our June 4 cruise on the Royal Princess. I'd be happy to report back afterwards and let you know how it goes.
  22. I did the same yesterday. Did you get an an emailed response back from Princess?
