  1. Annie and Whiterose I just had c.i. last November... oh i find it very strange to start with... my email is debian7@sky.com you can contact me and i will explain of my c.i. Scottishwee35
  2. Really NCL didn't inform me about that when I asked the question for an interpreter for Epic cruise in Europe.. they don't do it I wonder if only based in USA can provdes us an interpreter? Scottishwee35
  3. I born with profoundly deaf and worn my hearing aid all my life... I cannot live without it apart go to bed... Also love music too... I still not sure about C.I. and the hospital make an appointment that one adult who have C.I. will meet me this month. Thank for your feedback. Scottishwee35
  4. I had two an interpreters on Freedom of the Seas as both from different place. They didn't know that we are from UK, as our sign languages are slight different as we used BSL...However, we enjoyed it as we used ASL with Disney Cruise too. For you that who had C.I. were you born hearing? or anyone profoundly deaf worn C.I? My hearing is going down lot and C.I. offered me and I still not sure about it. My daughter was born with profoundly deaf and have no hearing at all. She had C.I. when she was 2 half and she said it was best ever. She thank us for giving her opportunity and she pick up lot and talking clear too. I still not sure about myself for C.I. Scottishwee35
  5. We were sailing to Panama Canal 2008 with Magic Disney Cruise and we loved it very much.... it was so awesome.... Scottishwee35
  6. Venice is so beautiful place and we all love it and 2 nights was not enough. My son (16) thought that the place was so beautiful and he said if he have a girlfriend and he will take her to Venice. Oh bless him. We enjoyed it so much and beautiful weather. We went up ( I forgot what name) at Marks Square and we saw beautiful view of Venice. I took lots of photo. My husband and I will go back again to see more church and museum... We enjoyed sailed with Splendour of the Seas and watch Venice. I think it was best ever.... Scottishwee35
  7. We had it at Splendour of the Seas and it was fab...:p
  8. Oh my god I hope everything sort out asap... Just been there last month and it is so beautiful place... I would love go back there again... Scottishwee35
  9. Oh one more I love Champagne bar too on Freedom...;) some cocktails 2 for 1 I don't see that at Splendour:eek:
  10. good pizza, sandwiches, tea or coffee but pay for cupcakes, Ben and Jerry Ice cream ( I didn't try for cupcakes or ice cream) but heard that the cupcakes is good... Don't miss it...Lots of show on Promenade and colourful change on the stairs... To be honest, I disliked that ship on first day but my husband took me walk around as it was massive ship because I love small ship like Disney cruise, Splendour was small than Disney Magic. At the end of week, I love Freedom as plenty things and plenty to see and huge swimming pool and huge spa too. and H20 was fun with water. Scottishwee35
  11. I think it is something to do with Greece. I am sure you will enjoy the larger ship and I noticed that you booked Independence of the seas (cannot spell it right) however it is same size of Freedom of the Seas as it was brilliant, plenty things to do and food was great. We love Promenade as something we miss out on Splendour of the Seas. Our teenagers said Freedom was best. Unless we try different cruise but I quite fancy go back on Freedom or Independence in future. Scottishwee35
  12. Yes I noticed it and no we paid full tips for 4 of us which was quite expensive. Thought it was not nice!!
  13. Hello We stayed at Venice for 2 nights and it was so awesome. We all loved it very much. About Splendour of the seas.... When we sailed from Venice and it was so beautiful to watch the Venice, so romance... My husband gave me glass of champagne while to watched it. My teenagers, husband and I enjoyed it and we were with deaf group of Passage Deaf Travel who organised by USA, We met Australia, Canada, USA, Ireland and 4 of us Scotland. We had a great times with them and 13 ASL interpreter plus 2 international interpreters for us, Ireland and Australia. We enjoyed it but we think food was not very good... Teenagers didn't like salty swimming pool but they still had the fun with the group. We are only family in this group as no one bring the kids along... but Canadian bring two older girls aged 18 and 19 friendly with our teenagers. But they were disappointed that no games hall like basketball etc but my son won the games at the teenager club. He got a lovely prize!! About tips, we were not happy that they took off automatically every day and I had go to customer services explained that I brought dollars money with us for the tips so they sorted it out. It changed now as before normally on last day envelope handed out but not now. Show was okay but we liked to watch acrobats and we did the fun games at the hall. We were 2nd with Australia team not bad... We watched love and marriage games that was funny as two deaf group was involved. There was white party at the pool while cruising at Greece. That was fun. Weather was so hot, far too hot at Athens... We had a nice weather so far no raining all the week. Cruise was smoothly but one night it was bit rough... We enjoyed with the staff which did the funny games and watched the belly dive it was funny. We met Irish two couples and we keep touch with them as they were good company with us. On last day, our teenagers find out that we booked with Disney cruise and they were so happy with it. they said they prefer Freedom of the Seas than Splendour of the Seas. Nothing wrong with Splendour but I love it but disappointed with foods. We had the balcony and it was on 7th floor and it was great...good size of the room and we had the fridge!! But it was filled up with coke, lemonda and big bottle of water. It was quite expensive but I need lots of water. I put my bottle of champagne lol:) Thank to Passages Deaf Travel for their hard work and we all enjoyed it as it was our first times with them. We highly commend that we will the cruise with them in future.:) Scottishwee35
