  1. Just as an aside, I used the water bottle filling station at O'Hare airport and thought the water taste was disgusting. Tasted of nasty chemicals. Never noticed it in the past.
  2. I agree. I live in a suburb of Milwaukee and Milwaukee has some of the best and best tasting drinking water. The suburbs can't wait to get Milwaukee water piped out to them. It kills me to see people around here polluting our planet with plastic bottles when great water is available right out of the tap. That being said, I understand that there are places where you don't want to drink the water out of the tap.
  3. A liter of Acqua Panna mineral water was in our suite each week. I believe they were available elsewhere; I may have seen them listed on one of the drink menus in the bar.
  4. Yikes, we were on the Have It All package on the Eurodam or I would have been upset to pay $4.50 for a 16-ounce bottle of water. The ingredients listed on the bottle were: purified water, potassium bicarbonate, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride. Do we need all this stuff? What's wrong with just "water"?
  5. We were tested in the middle of the our 2-week cruise, August 15 to August 29. Of 800 or so people, no one tested positive. Don't know why you would think there would be Covid onboard.
  6. Yes, it is not such a big deal. And since we're embarking in Greece, we don't have to deal with the Covid test 72 hours prior. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures, so you have to look at it that way, if you still want to cruise.
  7. I wouldn't worry about it, but it was in the email they just sent me: If you have not already done so, please also complete the following checklist. These are required for boarding. Complete Online Check-In and required documents: Risk Acknowledgement Vaccine Attestation Cruise Contract Download or Print Boarding Pass Complete the Health Questionnaire (72 to 24 hours prior to embarkation) Complete Passenger Locator Form (before 11:59PM the day prior to entering Greece) Bring Proof of Vaccination to the terminal NEW COVID-19 TEST REQUIREMENT
  8. Thanks. But I wondered about that because it says the assessment must be filled out between 72 and 24 hours before boarding.
  9. The health assessment won't be available to me until August 12. We leave August 13 for Greece. I am filling out the form for 2 households and don't want to hit any snags right before departure. Can anyone tell me what the assessment is all about? Complicated, or can I just answer the questions for the 3 of us and breeze through it? Thanks,
  10. All of our 2021 cruises are available for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and have proof of vaccination and proof of a negative, medically observed viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken within 72 hours of their embarkation. For guests embarking in Europe, we are conducting mandatory COVID-19 antigen testing at the pier pursuant to the EU Healthy Gateways Protocols. This test will be complimentary, and a negative result will satisfy our new testing requirements.
  11. Well, I wouldn't have even thought of checking the menu on the app, so thanks for sharing.
  12. Could you help me navigate the Navigator app? I am on the Eurodam August 15 and when I pull up dining in the MDR, all they are showing is one menu (different for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Is there a way to get the menus for each day of the next 2 weeks?
  13. We are on the Eurodam stopping in Haifa August 24. I have 11 people going on a non-ship-sponsored shore excursion to Jerusalem. If HAL is going to change anything, I wish they'd hop to it.
