    Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

That dessert was sooo good! No one at our table was going to order it, but our waiter brought each of is a plate of it anyway. I'm glad he did as it was one of my favorites.
  2. What did you do differently on your second cruise?

Things I'll leave at home next cruise...

Bottled water or mugs/bottles for water or other beverages. Several people suggested that the cups provided didn't hold enough beverage so bring larger ones. I felt the cups were sufficient. I also brought bottled water for my two Mayan ruin tours but on each one the tour provided water. Also, another plus of packing light...we did self-disembarkation off of the Miracle and at one point the line reached a point where those of us who had a free hand (I was pulling one suitcase with one hand and had a back pack on my shoulder and my husband was the same) were allowed to use the escalator to get out of the port building. We got ahead of a lot of people. Those that did not have free hands due to pulling around multiple pieces of luggage had to wait a lot longer to be able to leave since I think they had to wait in line for an elevator.
  4. Put out cubbie holes to store your towels, shoes, & the rest of your stuff so you don't have to store it on a lounge chair that someone else would otherwide use for lounging!

  6. My husband and I are going on our first cruise on the Miracle on 09/24/06 (5 days! Woo hoo!!). My husband is an extremely casual person. He either wears shorts and a t-shirt or jeans and a t-shirt. You should have seen the look on his face when I said that shorts and t-shirts were not allowed in the dining room! We actually had to go buy a couple of polo shirts for him which will probably only be worn for dinner. So, it looks like we are going to forego formal night. The one food on the menu I have been most looking forward to is the pumpkin soup which looks to be served on one of the formal nights. If I don't go to formal night how do I otherwise get some pumpkin soup? Can I have some delivered as room service or will the same soups that are served in the dining room usually be offered in the Lido buffet? You all have given me so much advice regarding the "big stuff" on the cruise that I only have this one little question that I have hoping to have answered. Thanks everyone and happy cruising!
