I received a notice from the travel agency that booked my cruise that unvaxxed will not be permitted to disembark in Grand Turk. In case there is still any confusion over this topic, it seems - based on many poster experiences, the GT Govt website, and this new communication - that all unvaxxed will remain on the ship at this port. I guess I will just plan a solo day at a less crowded pool and lunch buffet. 🙂

Has Grand Turk been denying entry to vaccinated/unboosted people? I am bracing myself to not be able to go to port because I am not vaccinated, but my friend is and she has not been boosted. Wondering if she will have a problem?

This is about Grand Turk, not HMC. HMC is in the Bahamas and there haven't been any problems with unvaxxed enjoying this destination,

It seems that the best approach is to be flexible for that port day. If able to disembark, great. If not, have a lovely day onboard a less crowded ship! 🙂

Wow, that's a terrible noise! It would keep me awake, too. Is it possible to purchase ear plugs on board? While not ideal, it would at least dampen the sound so you can hopefully get some sleep.

I spoke with my travel agent today, and she said that it depends on the cruise line/contracts in place. For some cruise lines, all passengers are allowed to disembark whereas others are still requiring vaccination. So check with your cruise line to be sure.
