You'll be fine.

I'd assume so, but I dunno maybe Europeans are more into late dinners?

Very convenient indeed for all parties concerned.
One last note: other than embarkation night, they have only opened up one side of the garden cafe for dinner. A little hectic but not terrible.
That's probably because a pipe burst and flooded the other section on the previous sailing.

It took 2.5 days to get to PC from NY for your convenience.

If it's open yes you can
Thanks. And I assume since the seapass cards aren't available yet you just show them your boarding docs to verify?

What happened to OP? No updates.
This is unacceptable.

The T&C for the package specifies it covers lunch at specialty restaurants "on sea days." I don't know if embarkation counts as a sea day, so does anyone have any experience attempting to use their UDP at Jamie's immediately upon boarding the ship?

Ill never understand how they justify these massive CEO transition and consultancy fees with all the cuts being instituted.
They do it for your convenience.

The Jones act relates only to cargo. The PVSA relates to passengers. I think the amount of the fine is correct though ⚓️
Whichever one it is, I got whacked once when I had to disembark in Orlando mid-cruise due to an emergency. Granted I "checked out" at guest services so they knew I was leaving, but I assume if you just bailed they would still bill the amount...for your convenience...to the card they have on file.
-
Anyone who disembarked and didn't return in Orlando is going to get a $700+ Jones Act fee billed to them.

Maybe they already ran out of beer again.

Thanks for being more motivated than those lazy non-contributing bums on the 3/10 sailing.

Anyone just off the ship care to fill us in on how things went?
-
I'd also like to note as a member of this community that I'm extremely disappointed in everyone currently aboard for not doing any live reviews.

That's at double occupancy (except for the Studio cabins), there are a lot of rooms that will hold 3 or 4...
...and sadly the Atrium isn't one of them.
The BA's have some charm, but on balance they're just not very-well designed ships.

Our resident engineer (I think), in a different thread, seemed certain that there were no microwaves anywhere on the ship, public or otherwise.
Uh the galleys are full of them

I can't think of anything less sanitary than allowing passengers to heat up their compresses in a publicly accessible microwave located in the buffet.

Looks like smooth sailing with sunny skies on the webcam right now...

A bartender told us there are 4800 passengers onboard this sailing.
You'd think with that many someone would have done some live posts from the ship...

The new le Bistro decor is so bland and boring. And calling that scallop thing an appetizer is generous. That's barely a canape.

The woulds, coulds and shoulds of cruising are kind of the central topic of these message boards.

Mking's reviews not being on the ship are better than some from people on board.

It melts fast. I like having ice in the room too.

Any deck on yacht club preferred on Meraviglia?
in MSC Cruises
Posted
Aside from the obvious desire to avoid Deck 18 due to the sundeck noise from directly above, are any of the YC decks preferable to others? I'm debating between 15 and 16, but I can't discern much of a difference from anything on the deck plans.
On that same note, any specific cabins to avoid for reasons that would otherwise go unseen?
