Looks like you are stopping in Horta this morning while we on Odyssey hurry on to make our first port of call in Ponta Delgada. Hoping for the best for all of the medical evacuees.

Yeah, our Starlink location switched from Atlanta to Madrid today. Now I can’t stream Hulu among other things. Good thing I decided to download the Shogun finale to watch yesterday.

We had Teppanyaki for dinner. Not the best Teppanyaki experience I’ve ever had (no fire!), but still pretty good and having the ocean view behind the chef is pretty cool. Food was overall very good too. Sing put on a good show.

We are gaining. This is with a 400mm lens and cropped a half hour or ao ago. I think we will catch up after dark. Of course quite visible this morning while we both were still in Bermuda.

USB-C to HDMI adapter will do that.

Good morning, Odyssey. Hope the app not updating the ship time this morning didn’t mess anybody up.

Well, most Broadway-style musical productions are a bit on the corny side. Thought the technical aspects of Effectors was excellent. Music & choreography too. Story such as it was a bit thin, and as I said it was a little on the short side, but I really enjoyed it. More so than “We Will Rock You” which I don’t think I’d bother to see twice.

Odyssey has “The Effectors” as the main show in the Royal Theater. It’s not Broadway but it is excellent, though a tad short (45 minutes).

I like getting the paper compasses (more as a souvenir than anything), and I would actually be ok with this.

We were just on Anthem in December so I think I have a good POV for comparison. For Odyssey, Playmakers is a big plus. May be the only place to get good beer on a Royal ship. I like El Loco Fresh in place of Johnny Rockets (though the shakes are missed). Dog Haus is missing but isn’t a big loss,IMO. I think I like Giovanni’s Kitchen over Jamie’s. I’m glad we have a couple more lunches there during this trip purchased during the various sales. The lack of an indoor pool (the one underneath North Star is open to the elements on Odyssey, enclosed on Anthem) isn’t a problem on this cruise, but will be a bit of a downside when she’s doing winter sailings from Bayonne.

We had Mario too. He offered to surprise us with the appetizers and dessert and just pick the mains, we did ao and I think there were only a couple starters he didn’t serve. Standouts were the Mad Hatter’s Shrimp and the Liquid Lobster. I also had the short rib and it was very tasty. My wife had the Branzino in Cripsy Bread which was also very good. Loved the “World” dessert. Less so the Forbidden Apple. Really liked the Smoke Rings cocktail, too.

Woohoo, a thread for our TA. Hope you don’t mind if others contribute. We flew in to FLL this morning and are at the Riverside hotel tonight. About to go check out the riverwalk. Can’t wait to board tomorrow!

Just noticed this thread. We considered booking this cruise but picked the Odyssey TA instead, to see a bit of Italy. Odyssey is departing from FLL the same day Oasis departs. Wonder if we’ll get a glimpse of each other on the way? In any case it’ll be fun to follow what’s going on with the “other” Royal TA in progress.
