Yes, an island tour of Barbados is a thing, especially on your first visit. We had a great CC group and did The Best of Barbados with Barbados Scenic Tours quite sometime back. Great tour, full day, nice vans and great island tour we had a very memorable experience.I highly recommend it. If you happen to change your mind I also highly recommend a full day cat. sail on the Calypso Girl. Done this a couple of times with our CC group, top shelf all day sailing you'll figure it out. Calypso Girl Barbados 👍 Either way you can't lose.

Best day pass on Aruba is The Barcelo, did it about 5 years ago it was $85(US) had a blast. Would definitely do it again. On Palm Beach. Check it out I highly recommend it.

Yes and Yes. YES request a specific guide his name is Baptiste. Yes you should give them another shot. Last December we were in a global mess yes we still are but not as bad for cruising(I still won't book yet). Last December was not a conducive time to cruise. I had friends on the Enchanted Princess last December they were miserable. For one reason or another or another or another they had such a terrible time they wouldn't discuss the cruise with me. Other than to tell me they had to go back to there stateroom and take there masks off so they could breathe. Half the ports were shut down the ones that were open you could only take ship tours it was always some kind of B.S.. By January in the event we're all still here things should improve even more. Baptiste should be your driver, you need to get on your roll call and try and get others from your sailing to go with you. We had a group of about 30, 4 vans full of passengers the 5th van was a rolling bar. Excellent tour and I'm picky. Hope this helps.🙂

I posted pictures of Willamsted I took a few years ago here on CC. I took them at night having dinner on the river. They show quite a bit of the town lit up I think with Christmas lights. You can look them up somehow 🤔🙂. Willamsted is beautiful at night I highly recommend having dinner in town if your ship doesn't leave until late. When I was there it was nothing but fun good people great food excellent vibe and beautiful at night. 👍👍

Yep Iguana Joe's did shut down during covid had friend's who tried to have dinner in there back in December, it was closed. It was my understanding they opened back up several months ago and they were getting back to normal. Hate it they had to shut down I'm sure they're not the only restaurant on the island that had to do that. That restaurant is a hub for cruise ship passengers and especially crew members. When it's closed especially for any extended period of time it's difficult on the local everything. I've been having dinner here for well over a decade simply because when our ship is ported on Aruba we don't leave until late. Had I taken a cruise last December like I could have got of the ship walked over to Iguana Joe's to find out it was closed I would have never forgiven myself. Had friend's who had planned on doing this walked over from the ship The Enchanted Princess last December it closed what a disappointment. Drinks upstairs at the bar, best mojito's every time. Awesome Bloody Mary's. Iguana Joe's that big bar and dinner tab, I'm on vacation who cares. Thanks for the info. 👍

You can try this, I've been doing it for years. Dinner at Iguana Joe's right across the street from the port. Can't miss it, take your family upstairs and eat overlooking everything, best ticket in town. A crew and passenger favorite. The building is pink, great deck and views plus it's 2 minutes to the ship. Iguana Joe's look it up you'll figure it out. Great food, good service excellent vibe. Best drinks on the island.

I'm very easy to accommodate, one of those loungers overlooking those rocks with sea in the background, the little dock out to the water access thingy, and a bucket of pretty much anything IN MEXICO, I'm in. That place looks great and maybe a bit more me than Nachi. Probably a lot more me than Nachi🙂. In my case just to eliminate any misunderstanding I try and do the AI day package. I've had lots of luck with this approach😂, pretty much what the AI package means to me, it means all day is pretty much Happy Hour, it's a problem🙄 but just to me, I keep the fallout close to home. Btw the Sky Reef Bar that's da bomb. Water in the background ME ME ME and ME.😁 You will be there before I will, I'm looking forward to your new review. I'm going to try this. Last two times on Cozumel I did Nachi planning a cruise now for next year, there's a good probability I'll be heading back to Cozumel. Nachi is a great deal really enjoy my day there, I was just going to try something different and The Money Bar fits the bill. Had planned on going to The Money Bar last time on the island but got bushwacked by my fellow CC'rs who wanted to go back to Nachi, went back to Nachi we had a time😉. Can never go wrong with Nachi I'm going to try something different this time. Does The Money Bar have an AI option like Nachi? Easy enough water access? I saw they don't have a beach but there is access to the ocean. Looks nice, I'm looking forward to the visit. Thank you for your help. BTW I read The Money Bar's menu food options look great.

Your welcome. You have quite a bit of time. This is just an idea, after your tour with Cosol with the time you've been given, the beer garden right at the port beside your ship is a great place to chill and relax before getting back on the ship. Really nice open atmosphere it's in the secure port area, lots of fun. 😉

Took Cosol's Best of St. Lucia by Land and Sea Tour twice. At the time the cost was $80(US)+tip. Great tour, nice bus's, best tour guides. This is a full day tour. Always something to drink, nothing but fun and a great day. Highly recommend this tour. Tell them you want Baptiste as your driver, he's the best on the island. Have fun.👍👍

Yes you want a beach excursion, yes sargassum is a problem. By the time you get to the beach at the Marriott it will already be cleaned up and it won't be an issue. Best beach on the island will be at the St. Kitts Marriott, don't worry about anything except having fun. Later

The Santa Barbara is now Sandals Curacao. They sell day passes to cruise ship visitors just like the Sandals on St. Lucia do. If anyone has anything new to add when it comes to spending my day at this resort again, any help would be appreciated. 🙂

Hey thanks for the info. this excursion has become so popular Goffs Caye is a cash machine. It's hard telling what renovations and improvements they're making, I'm sure they figured it out looking forward to going back and seeing all the new upgrades. Clearest water anywhere near Central America the place is one of a kind. 👍
