My partner, who may join me on a cruise starting from NY and with two stops in Canada, has a DUI on his record from Jan. 2016, a one and only, should he be concerned if traveling with just his passport?

The answer is yes I can do this. So I put a courtesy hold on a Rock Star lock in rate. The rate is $9039 and I am currently PIF for a GTY sea terrace for $2097. I would obviously be responsible to for the difference. This is for an 8 night cruise and just wondering from your experience is this a decent rate?

Has Celebrity changed or have I? Honestly I don’t even fault the service staff in Murano as much as I do Celebrity corporate for making obvious cuts to service. I don't think it is you at all. Sadly the front of house staff have a lot to deal with and the back of house really need to pay MUCH better attention. While not rampant (yet) I have been seeing a noticeable uptick in posts such as yours, from what have seemed to be very reliable and content Celebrity cruises. I do appreciate how you still seem very upbeat and positive, though I'm thinking those casino hits can be a very nice band-aid. 🙂

The laundry options should be in your cruise planner. It's usually more $ advantageous to purchase pre-cruise but they do run on board sales at times.

You don't mention which ship/date. You provide no context. On Solstice it's $13k for 2 in CS. On Edge it's $30k in EV.

All true but if you can enter with just your passport, which usually don't include this information and not having to do the Visa application and all that entails, where I assume one has to list any criminal/DUI convictions?

I am like the OP. I print all the cruise docs, GeoBlue policy and copies of pp and put them in a file folder and pack it in my backpack. I also have copies of all on my phone, either in pics or email file I create.

In my experience, if a little flexible with the times, I was always able to get SD res' w/o a problem.

When traveling in Europe, esp. Italy always expect the unexpected traveling by train, esp. in the small town stations, frankly it is almost the norm not the exception. Livorno is a lovely little town, quintessentially, picturesque small town Italian and a lovely respite from Florence, Rome. The best seafood I have ever eaten in Italy, mussels and oysters OMG. The train system is what it is and I generally always find a kind soul to assist if needed. Elevators are very frequently OOO in these small stations, packing light is my moto. My friend got the train ticket fine too, though I warned him before boarding he did not think they were serious, it is what it is, I used it as a HA HA I told you so moment.

This almost clarifies a question that I was going to post, so I will ask it here. Similar to the OP, I have a GTY Lock in rate for a Sea Terrace. This is where my question lies: No Cabin Changes: Once assigned, cabin changes are not allowed, As my cabin has not yet been assigned, my sail date is Sept. 15. If I were to call VV would I be allowed to move to a Cheeky Corner Suite, pay the up charge/difference with what I have already paid in full for the GTY? TIA

My guess is they are trained/not allowed to react in any other manner. When they probably want to say OMG not again this happens so often.
