  1. Never heard of this, but will definitely check them out! Thanks
  2. I've only begun to figure out the logistics for our trip but I do know that we plan to arrive in Orlando a few days before the cruise so we can do 1 day at Magic Kingdom. Initially my plan is to rent a car and either bring our car seats with us or use car seats that the rental company provides. If the former, we'll need to store the car seats in our cabin because we'll return the rental before boarding the ship. If the latter, then no need to store because we won't have them. As I talk this out... unless there's some crazy fee, we'll probably do the rental company provided car
  3. I know I can bring a 12 pack of soda per adult ... but I'm curious about the following and if they're allowed? - Juice boxes (like Capri Suns) - Prepackaged snacks (like individual bags of chips etc.) - Fruit/veggie pouches (apple sauce pouches, baby food style pouches, etc.) Also curious, when we visit islands... what is and what isn't allowed off the ship? For example, if I fill a Nalgene bottle of water, is that ok? Nalgene bottle of juice? What about the packaged foods mentioned above or even the boxes of cereal you can grab at Lido? I'm betting you can't bring
  4. Theyre just so bulky. It is what it is. We’re going to see what car seats are offered in rentals and see if that makes more sense
  5. We are traveling with a 2 year old and 5 year old and because we are flying in a few days early and renting a car for the pre-cruise part, we’ll have 2 car seats. Aside from keeping them in our cabins once we board, is there a place Carnival could store them? Or should we just accept the fact that we’ll have to tuck them somewhere in the room?
  6. We are travelling in August on the Elation (5 day cruise). Not really interested in spending $80 for FTTF to get on early/gain early access to cabins. We will be flying in a few days early and thus will be able to head to Port Canaveral whenever we want. What time are cabins usually ready? How early can you board without FTTF? edit to add... and if I change my mind and decide to get it.... how early can I get on?
  7. Was that before their recent drydock or after?
  8. I was under the impression that all cabins have fridges? When I look at my booking for my inside stateroom it doesn’t list it. Am I mistaken?
  9. Wait a second... I thought you could only take advantage of price drops that happen within 48 hours of booking? Is that not the case?
  10. We are going to be on the Elation with our 5 year old and 2 year old and we hope to use Camp Ocean (if the kids are into it). Do they limit the number of participants? Any idea on how many staff there are? I'm sure when I see it I'll be more comfortable, but I'm a bit nervous despite hearing great reviews. Also, do they keep that age (Penguins) in the room at all times or will they leave the room with the kiddos?
