We were also unable to get ours shipped despite having plenty of time, it was "not available". We're sailing out of a different port, but had thought all this time that they would mail the medallions to us ahead of the cruise.

Same here and our TA included the $10 in our pkg.

You can either advise them prior to boarding but really not required.   Just let the Maitre'D and your Server know.    The first thing you waiter will ask is you have any allergies or food restrictions.

Also in the Ocean View Cafe you can let a server know and they can direct you or speak with the chef.

You can contact the Celebrity Cruises Access Department at 1.866. 592.7225 or special_needs@rccl.com.

Or submit a Special Needs Form

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

  3. We are on the Reflection in Nov. I am on very low sodium diet due to medical condition. Princess has a place you can notify them on line but can't find anywhere on Celebrity to notify someone. Does anyone have any experience with this. Thanks

  4. Since it was in dry dock & just started sailing again have a few questions

Do they have hair dryers in rooms

Do they have any USB ports

and just general question - can you bring any wine on board? We have drink package but will be in France several days before boarding and have a balcony thought it might be nice to have a bottle or two in room.

There is a thread on the Princess board about drinking water on ships. Costa uses exactly the same equipment as everybody else.

I have stayed at European resorts where you paid for water if you didn't have a drink package.

it was my understanding that in dining room if they gave you water in a glass they charged for it....I don"t mind paying for bottled water. I also have never been on a ship with a drink package where they limit your water to 1 bottle. i have always been able to get as many as I want.

😁 I booked as well for the Favolosa 7.11. The drinking package would cost nearly the same as I paid for 2 Person for the whole cruise. I think I will just buy the 13 x 1l water package ^^

The beverage package at Costa is incredibly expensive, don't you think?

our reg. drink pkg. was included in some promotion we booked thru.

Right now, Favolosa is outside of La Speza, Italy with Costa Magica. Both ships are awaiting their cruising restarts. Favolosa is scheduled to restart in early October.

    thanks

  8. I cannot find any recent info on the Favolosa. I believe it was in drydock but all the cruise finders say it is cruising in the Mediterranean.  We are on this ship Nov. 8th and would love to read about things on this ship.

  9. We are going to be on the Favolosa in Nov. and are trying to decide if we should upgrade our drink package. Since the mini bar is included in upgrade this might impact my decision.  Also, does anyone know how much a bottle of water cost since the plan I am on only includes 1 a day and I drink 5-6?

So question for you experts... this will be our first on Celebrity.

I have a new medical concern which I am not allowed any alcohol- and its difficult for sure. We made it work on NCL with Heineken - 0,  virgin Mojitos and the like (we had to pay for specialty coffees and water.)  We have the Classic alcohol package, and I see coffee/tea is included but I really like all the extra offerings on the PREMIUM NON ALCOHOLIC (flavoured waters, Red bull) .

If I switch packages will they still offer virgin drinks on the non alcoholic package? Like Heineken 0? Not interested in the slushy drinks. Will Celebrity switch my package on board? Im assuming they will since its quite a decrease in price. Second thought is to maybe Upgrade my package, to the Premium ALCOHOLIC package but we are on a 12 day cruise so it adds up. And again, I don't drink. Can we upgrade just one package and maybe let my partner enjoy an upgraded tequila or two? Or is it like NCL that both packages have to upgraded. And I guess technically that would be sharing and not allowed.

Any idea on what would be the best option?

I just upgraded mine to Premium and left husbands alone since he cannot drink for health reasons. You can only upgrade 1 and I got the percent off for Captains Club so well worth it.

Up to $15 in cost. Covers all but a few drinks in Martini bar, some Scoth and some wines by the glass over $15. Very nice selection of wines by the glass between $9 and $15 including French and American champagne. If you are a wine drinker the PDP is a must, IMO.

I have classic and so far have not seen any white wines I would drink. I usually drink a savigion blac or a dry rose. does anyone know if there are any on classic or should I just suck it up and upgrade. I am not a big drinker so kind of was hopping to not spend the extra bucks.

We cruise April 24 and our cabin number for gty room showed up this week

Interesting....I didn't know if you purchased alcohol from the Fun Shop you got to take it right then. I thought it was held until the last night. This may be a nice option for some.

You have to pre-order and it will be delivered to your room before you board. We have done that several times but decided not really worth running back to room or carrying a flask around.

On Pride a few weeks ago, the D&P gathering had free flowing drinks made to order. Maybe they are doing things differently on smaller ships. Loved the $25 casino dollars (free money).  While different, still received my water, strawberries and cookies easily enough.  We had a QR code in room stating the benefits and also Guest services confirmed everything when asking about something else.  While it does take a little more work, I appreciated being able to request the cookies and strawberries when I wanted vs them delivering on the formal night.  Absolutely agree they can save $ by making it more an effort  for the customer but at least they do not waste items if someone doesn't want them anyway.   Hope you enjoy your weekend.

We were on the 1st sailing of the Pride out of Baltimore. We had no qr code and did not know if they had just done away with them. We did not find out until the last day we had to go pick things up. They did deliver the cookies and strawberries without us requesting them.

Since the TSA doesn't provide security at sea ports it was likely a private security company with the same initials (and if you respond that the shirt was an official TSA shirt just like the one they wear at the airport then I will respond this is the first I've heard of them providing security at a sea port🙂).

I am sorry you feel so strongly that I am incorrect but I know who they were and if you double check who TSA provides securtiy for you will see they do it at cruise ports. The initials stand for Travel Security Authority. You are entitled to believe what you want I was just trying to offer info based on my experience.
