After reading others talk about OnPoint we will probably use them for our upcoming September cruise. I do have a question about using the free tests you get from the government. Do they ask about the expiration date? Ours will be technically expired a month before we will take the tests but I thought I read somewhere that they are still good 3 months past expiration date. Anyone know if this is true?

This is exactly what I wanted to hear! It definitely makes me really lean toward upgrading. I would love if you could take pics of the wine lists on the BA. We are cruising on the Getaway in September so since the BA and GA are basically the same ship I’m sure the menus will be the same. I hope you enjoyed your time in Miami! I drink mostly wine and the selection for just the regular package seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Was Veuve available in only a few bars and Le Bistro?

We will be on the Getaway at the end of September for a 9 night. We assume that there will be very few children since it is longer and school is back but definitely wondering how full the ship will be. I have noticed that the fare has not gone up or down since I booked this. Not sure what that could mean. We are looking forward to this cruise and no matter what, we will have a great time!

I'm a little surprised (well with COVID not really) that on a 9 night that Million Dollar Quartet only has 2 shows. The ship must be no where near full.

Since it looks like NCL now uses smaller bags, I’m wondering how much you can actually fit in a bag? For cruises who are bigger than average, a pair of shorts might take up a lot of space. Anyone who has used the new smaller bags how much could you fit in?

One of our port stops is Antigua and not really sure what to do. We don’t want to go to a beach, but we would like to get off the ship and do something. What is there to see that would be a good way to spend several hours?

I want all cruises and cruisers to be safe, but I will be happy when pre-cruise testing will be no more.

Sounds like you had a really nice cruise! As for the covid testing, did you get the Rapid Antigen test or the NAAT test? Does NCL approve both that are offered from Walgreen’s?

Now that the Getaway’s Baltic cruises have been cancelled and she will be cruising the Caribbean from PC, I was just looking at a fall cruise and noticed that the prices were very reasonable. Has anyone else decided to take advantage and cruise the Getaway this fall?
