  1. An interesting first analysis of COVID-19 among the crew members on the Diamond Princess. Interesting notes ... The index case was not identified, but the spread seems to have initiated from passenger to food service crew. Look to be contained in the food service group and on deck 3. Wonder if there will be a similar analysis for passengers? It will be interesting to see the report from the Grand Princess. Initial Investigation of Transmission of COVID-19 Among Crew Members During Quarantine of a Cruise Ship — Yokohama, Japan, February 2020 https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6911e2.htm?s_cid=mm6911e2_e&deliveryName=USCDC_921-DM22863 https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/pdfs/mm6911e2-H.pdf
  2. Well ... except that it still pays $250 on every cruise ....
  3. With RADAR and GPS knowing where both ends of the ship are within 9 feet - I don’t get how they close the port due to weather
  4. In Caribbean Princess it has been reported to be 15-30 Minutes later than scheduled on the website at between 7:30&7:45
  5. All of the new ships .... Deck 7 design disaster
  6. You miss the point ... 🙄 It doesn’t matter what you need to get on the ship ... it matters what you need to fly home from a port outside of the US!
  7. NOT if you need to FLY back into the US! (maybe you could get away with it if the Coast Guard picks you up - but probably not)
  8. Maybe ... but at least ... you won't miss the ship....
