  1. NCL used to have "Sports Afloat" cruises, in fact our 1st cruise was an NFL cruise with active, retired players and sportscasters and referees. My DH and DS were in heaven! The following year we took the MLB cruise and were again right there with many of the top stars of baseball.
  2. On the Norwegian Dawn the AA/owner suite and the AC/penthouse have forward facing balcony
  3. we always buy local beer in ports and have never had a problem. Also in many of the small islands with local bottling plants, they have the old big big glass bottles of coke & pepsi that my son loves. I guess what I'm saying is that you don't have to stock up for the entire trip when you get on. I personally don't have any problem whatsoever with the water -drinking water- on the ship either-it tasted great!
  4. In January we went to Cane Garden Bay. (having been there years ago) I have heard on some of the boards, however that there may be an e. coli problem there from too many yachts anchoring out there. It was very crowded as there were 3 ships in port. Another couple we cruised with went to Brewer's Bay and they said it was not crowded at all and that it was very nice. I would recommend, however, if you've not been to the Baths in Virgin Gorda, to make that a priority excursion. It is, as far as I'm concerned, one of the wonders of the Caribbean.
