Which is better, cab or shuttle from Miami?

There are (7) of us,4 adults and 3 kids 10,14 and 1 year old. Would it be more feasiable for us to do the cab or the shuttle? I think the shuttle is $99.00 each way for us or $20. round trip through carnival. $24.00 sounds like a bargain to me but what about riding with a toddler? Do we need to show cruise tickets to get into terminal? How many suitcases does a cab hold? Thanks for the info.:D

    Question On Minor Children Please?

So, in my sister case, who is not using a passport just a birth certificate. Will she need permission from the dad? Actually, he is deadbeat somewhere an owe child support. She has not talked to him since she was 5 months preg. What if he won't sing a permission for the child? Do she really need it? When I talked to Carnival they said no.

    Question On Minor Children Please?

Question: If only parent is going do you need a letter from the other parent? What if the other parent is overseas in the service or don't know where he/she is or possible dead?

$70.00 Sign & Sail And 1 Yr Old

As for the soda card post: If you don't know ask. I am sorry if anyone has problem with the questions I asked. I find that by asking questions you get answers........... some good, some bad. I feel $70.00 is to much for a 1yr old, but I am willing to pay the cost. :) Last year I took my 2 twins 16 year olds, my 10 year old and my 14 year old grandson, my mom, husband and myself. I too love sharing and discovering new places with my family. This time I get to share and bond with my sister and her two boys. It's something we will have for a lifetime. Sorry that some of you feel that I should not ask questions or share my opinions, but that's life.:D

$70.00 Sign & Sail And 1 Yr Old

Okay......... So I don't get flamed..... We don't have a problem with the $70.00 just thought under 2 was exempt. When I mentioned how cute he was it was in reponse to an early post of how some of crew probably miss their own kids. I just sayin that they will falll in love with him..... We paid 3 person rate so why wouldn't we pay the tip? :) I just posed a question to see what everyone else thought. Again I love reading the response good or bad. Its all food for thougth.

Soda Card from 2007 use in 2008

No just wanted to know if they actually had a expiration date or not. We brought a card like this for a resort in Illinois in 2005, when we went back in 2007 they let us use the card. Think we paid $20.00 and it still had a balance of $11.00 for use.

Not that we would not tip. Just thought that under 2 was exempt. Believe me when they see this 1 year old who is so friendly, and cute as a button, they will fall in love with him. Well better get back to doing tax returns to pay for this trip. 6 clients already today. Loved all the coments. And thanks to alll:D

70 $ Ship Sail And 1 Year Olds

Sorry I posted to the wrong board. (Carnival) We can't leave him at home because Granny is coming along also. However we pretty much take our kids wherever we go. I remember my mom & dad taking us along with them when we went on vacation. I know the 1 year old won't remember this but we will have video to show him later.:o Thanks for all of the comments I enjoyed reading them.
  15. Carnival said I would be charged the $70.00 fee for my 1 year old nephew. I am okay with paying the third person rate but feel that the $70.00 is just to much. Has anyone ever negoiated for a lower rate when it comes to minors? Will be on a spring break cruise in March 08.
