We are currently on the Emerald Princess sailing from L.A. through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale. I have found the internet to be great. I’m able to stream shows on Netflix and on YouTube TV, as well as YouTube videos. I have no trouble sending and receiving emails.

Definitely would like to see a complete wrap-around promenade deck. These newer ships have a tiny walkable area on the promenade deck that’s a joke. A lot of us don’t like walking in the Sun for health reasons, so the walking track on the top of the ship is not for someone trying to protect their skin. Please bring back the full promenade deck.

On a September cruise to the Baltic on the Island Princess, my husband won $300, And I won $75. One of my $25 wins was at the final drawing at the end of the cruise. The rest of our winnings were by opening our cabin door!

Thank you all for your responses. I feel a bit better after reading the quote from the Princess website. We are flying home the same day we disembark, so we should be covered.

I have heard from someone who is presently on a European cruise on Princess that they were told by staff that Princess is no longer doing Covid testing onboard the day before disembarkation to fly home to the U.S., that it is on you to get tested to fly home. Does anyone know if this is true or has had this same experience? This doesn’t seem right that Princess is requiring passengers to scramble at 5h3 airport to find testing in order to fly home. This was told to me by someone who had princess EZ-Air. We are booked on a cruise this August leaving from Southampton, UK, and then in Copenhagen. I hope this is just a rumor and not true, as we do not wish to scramble to try to find a test and catch our flight after disembarking the ship.
