  1. I agree. I lived in the US for many years and Canadian bacon is not the same as UK back bacon, it’s more like ham.
  2. A transatlantic cruise is my favourite, so relaxing. There’s lots of do if you should wish to or else, like me, enjoy the time to relax with a book or three!
  3. Kir Royale is my favourite drink. I was looking on the bar lists and I couldn’t see Creme de cassis on it but you’ve given me hope now! 😆
  4. Thank you for taking the time to give us an update, it is much appreciated! Have a wonderful cruise.
  5. I had the same problem, both had our own email accounts registered, my husband received his email and I didn’t. Hopefully you have it sorted now, I rang Celebrity UK and they sorted mine immediately.
  6. The code it is asking for is provided with an email to a link to book around three weeks before your sailing date. 😊
  7. I’m sure the OP will confirm but I believe they’re doing a transatlantic? 👍🏻
  8. Thank you for your review, I’m loving reading everyone’s experiences!
  9. Lovely that you enjoyed your cruise, we are on the 14th august sailing, looking forward to your review!😊
  10. Have to say, I’m surprised that you “ would not mind, in the least, going through an entire week’s cruise without replacing a towel!” Even at home I change my towels more than once a week never mind on a cruise ship. 🙈
  11. One came up for our upcoming cruise on the Silhouette and we debated whether to upgrade from the sky suite we had already booked. In the end a CS came up so we went for that instead. I’ve had a cabin right at the front once before and I much prefer being either mid ship or aft., it’s less noisy and if you’ve ever experienced a cabin with a balcony that is front facing… 🙈 I realise these cabin balconies are side on though. Swings and roundabouts though, more vibration often aft but it’s each to their own. 🤷‍♀️ It looks a good sized suite though and has the advantage of having a dining table as well for anyone that likes the occasional dinner in their cabin. I think it will suit some folk very well.
  12. I’m also in the UK and contacted our TA for a price reduction when it came up, they charged us a £50 pp admin fee. It seems some charge for changes and some don’t. We lived in the US for quite a few years and generally you weren’t charged over there. 🤷‍♀️
  13. I’ve found that I’m less interested in the roll calls of cruises I’ve booked that I feel are less likely to go ahead or else will end up more difficult for us with restrictions etc. The more recent and likely to go ahead cruise I’ve booked, our roll call is quite busy.
