The ship will probably dock by 6:00 or 6:30 but by the time you get off the ship, through Customs and onto an Uber or Taxi, it is going to be at least 7:30. and could easily be 8:00am. Then you've got to get through Seattle and to SeaTac airport. Could you make a 10:15 flight? It would not be impossible, but it would be very improbable and, to my way of thinking, not worth the hassle of having to count on having no problems anywhere along the line. I would highly suggest the later 12:15 flight or check for a less expensive flight the next day and spend a relaxing day at the DoubleTree Hotel or one of the others by SeaTac airport!

OP, Tom works at Pier 91, the Princess Pier, in Seattle and if anyone, he should know Seattle.

Were the cruises booked with a promotion that had a non-refundable deposit rule in effect❓

You can trade in the mini bar for wine to bring home.
On a B2B we had a great server in TD on the second portion and didn't need the 2nd mini bar set up so we traded it for a bottle of wine and gave it to our server. We couldn't believe how happy that made him. He went around showing his friends what he had been given. But he also had the head waiter confirm that we had given it to him.

In our situation I typed pier 2 and meant Terminal 2. But the important point was that the couple used Princess transfer from pre-cruise hotel to ship and got out at first stop which was the wrong ship. And yes, this was their fault because they had the responsibility to pay attention to what was going on and where they were.

Yes, we have witnessed it happening. We did a BTB in FLL but transferring from first cruise on Regal at pier 2 to 2nd cruise on Coral @pier 21. Princess transferred us from 2 to 21 in a van. It was REALLY tense in that van. There was another couple in the van with us who had used Princess pre-stray and transfers and got out with luggage at the first stop, the Regal and said they made it onto the Regal when it was discovered. Princesses could not find their luggage and our first port was Aruba. To say they were upset is putting it mildly

My DW & I always each receive the loyalty reward payment from our first qualifying time to our last cruise. We have the same CC #’s A/B but she uses her maiden name and has a different mailing address than me.

Just checked a booking on safari with no problem.

We disembarked the Royal MX cruise about a week ago and the ship time always agreed with shore time.

We also order room service breakfast on disembarkation day which is also a great suite benefit.

We have already booked our May, 2021 Alaska cruise in the Sun Princess. It stops in Seward rather than Whittier. But I do t think that’s the AK schedule you’re asking about.

I Love these types of threads. I just had to call for no other reason to see if my call would go through.. And it went right through so I hung up.

About a month ago we couldn’t get our fax request to go through too. Fax machine printed an error report saying it was “poor line condition” at Princess’s end.
So, like Rusty10 we snail mailed but for us it took 4 days from date of mailing to when the OBC showed up.

The prevailing ocean currents (Aleutian Current) along the coast of WA, OR, & CA is south bound. It is generally a little smoother sailing in the direction of the current rather than bucking the current and going in the opposite way.

We canceled our 2019 Coral Alaska cruise and immediately rebooked a 2020 Alaska cruise on the Pacific Princess.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what ships will be sailing Alaska in summer 2020? We were on the Emerald in 2017 and loved it, and are planning another cruise in 2020, but would like to experience a different ship. Does anyone have any ideas?
Go to the Princess cite and search for CA Coastal cruises during April/May 2020 and it will show so far there are 4 ships making the trek from LA to Vancouver.

We plan an having room service cheese burger with chips on our balcony as we cruise out of Glacier Bay on our upcoming cruise. We really like the room service cheese burgers.

My DW also has a severe shellfish and a soy allergy. We record her allergies on her cruise personalizer and dine at TD. The head waiter has always been looker for her and knew her allergies. They would also have special meals made for her for lunch in Horizon Court. At times I wish I were eating what she had rather that what was on the menu.
We have always been so impressed with all the head waiters in how caring they have been with her diet needs, (44 cruises to date).

I'm shocked. I checked the web site for the Duck Boat tour and then checked the Princess excursion and found out they were the same price. I usually expect a Princess excursion to be at least half again as much but, in this case, they are showing at the same price. Of course I'm using the generic Princess listing as I don't have a cruise to Alaska scheduled at the moment but it's still shocking.
Princess has a best price guarantee on their excursions and if you can find the exact same itinerary for less Princess will give you 110% of the difference as OBC.

in Princess Cruises

We booked an Alaska June, 2021 cruise today and got the $150 OBC each. Had been watching the price for a couple of months and it was the same so booked to get the cabin we wanted.
