  1. When I took my grandson's to do it three years ago there was a Build a Bear workshop on the Magic. It was set up in the disco for several hours then.
  2. I just got off of a cruise and the only diet sodas were Diet Pepsi and Diet Sierra Mist. My husband is a diabetic and was looking for diet root beer or Dr Pepper. They had neither.
  3. There were 3 on our 15 day Panama Canal cruise. The throwback one did seem dressier. It had the throwback Captain's party with it! However, my hubby did not bring a jacket nor wear one to any of the 3.
  4. On the Breeze last week, The Red Frog Pub food was just about all priced $3.33~! (wings, coconut shrimp, sliders etc)
  5. Several times in Jamaica we did a Carnival Shore Tour called "Cool Running". It was a nice sailboat to Dunns River Falls. I could not climb the falls the last time so I just stayed on the beach until everyone came back down. Hope they still have the tour!
  6. My roommate got one last week on the Breeze. I had written to Special Needs ahead of time. They said to get the sharps container from Housekeeping...but when we arrived, it was already in the cabin. No charge.
  7. Last week we arrived in Grand Turk at Noon. Another ship had already ported and their cruisers were already on shore. I have been there many times. In the past, we have always managed to get the free blue chairs with green umbrellas. On this day, they had all been taken. (yes, it does seem like there are far less of them than there used to be). I had $26 cash with me. We walked down towards the water where a local was renting two chairs and an umbrella for $30. I told him that I only had $26 and he said that would do. He put a wristband on us and I paid him. I really didn't mind paying for them since we planned to be there for five hours and they were right up close to the water. It was worth it to us. The same local was selling buckets of local beer (5/$25) and is seemed he got lots of business.
  8. Tampa and Port Canaveral are my favorites for sure. Miami and Fort Lauderdale had much longer lines, confusion and wait times.
  9. Yes, I had also prebooked the thermal spa with a discount for a week on the Magic for my husband and I. On board, I was charged full price again also. I had to see guest services to have it taken off as well. This didn't take long but I am surprised to hear that it happens so frequently.
  10. Going through customs, baggage check, and bank exchange only took us about 20 mins. Depends on where your tour is actually meeting. Ours met under the terminal where there were many groups gathering and the buses picked us/them up right there. We had left in plenty of time but ended up waiting down there for another 20-30 mins before our bus came in to get us.
