I called Holland America to voice our displeasure...I was given this email address by customer service. According to the customer service representative there still may be time to change that decision. For those interested the email address is: theofficeofthepresdident@hollandamerica.com. I just sent my email 🙂

Khlela contrary to your comment, other religions are represented, as per Holland's Website:
An interdenominational service is held Sunday mornings, led by the congregation.
A Jewish Shabbat Service is held Friday evenings, led by the congregation.
I am glad that other religions are represented, I am not glad that they have removed representation on my faith on certain cruises.
"LouChamp" has captured my intent perfectly.
We sail multiple times per year, and this is a big factor on who we select as our cruise provider.

We have been almost exclusively sailing Holland because of the Catholic Priests on board. This is a game changer, and we will have to begin looking at other options. They have all types of other entertainment and special interest groups that they cater to and will not cut but have decided to target the dedicated Catholics on their cruises. The Masses during the cruises that we have been on can have over 100 people in attendance...and they cut this option??? This is a recent change that we were just made aware of as of June 2024.

Holland America is more of a sophisticated atmosphere, targeted to a more senior crowd. It is white glove treatment with outstanding food and service. NCL is more for the 30-60 age group and is also good for kids. The food and service are nowhere near that of HAL...but, with that said, NCL has some of the best entertainment that we have seen on cruise ships. It is more of a fun atmosphere. One caution of cruising in November...We did it once and never again, as we had the roughest seas that we had ever seen. Not sure if Church is important to you or not, but HAL has clergy aboard every cruise, (we are Catholic and enjoy having a Priest onboard).
Both are very good choices and you will have a great time on either one.

You can tell us what a great time that you had as we pass you coming off the ship:). Have a great cruise!

and loved the longer balcony and aft view.
Thank you. It looked a little nicer than the standard side balconies...and I am looking forward to the view.

Tom, when are you sailing? Our dear friends will be in 7142 on the 1/27 sailing. We were in 7142 on the Zuiderdam and the balcony on 7140 was a good size. It nice to have the aft view as you will see both sides after you have sailed past them.

We are sailing on February 7th. Thank you for your response!

Has anyone stayed in Room 7140 on Ms. Noordam? If so, what are your thoughts on the room? Thanks!

Joanie,
Do you by chance have a photo of room 4120 on the Noordam? Thanks:)
