  1. We have used EZ Air a few times for international flights and have never had a problem. Yes, our flights have changed between booking and date of travel, but we tend to book as soon as the flights become available, so the airlines tend to refine their schedules over the months, not EZ Air's fault.
  2. Sometimes it iisn't the cruise line that is blocking wifi callling, but the cell provider. We used to have AT&T and we purchased our phones from someone other than AT&T, so it was unlocked, and they (AT&T) disabled wifi calling because we purchased our phone direct from the manufacturer and not them.
  3. Laundry is $3 to wash and $3 to dry. I believe detergent and dryer sheets are $1.50 (I usually bring my own, so I am not certain about the cost)
  4. It is, but Princess is also the only one of the 3 that has self-service laundry on every passenger deck of every ship. Also, Princess offers free laundry for eiltes and suites, but HAL does not.
  5. On the crown it would be a minisuite or suite
  6. My husband doesn't have an allergy, but he has Meinere's disease and salt is a trigger for him, so he is on a very low sodium diet. Princess is wonderful with accommodating him, especially in the main dining room.
  7. Tell your daughter to check the patter as they do have meet ups for the 18-20 year old set. Keep in mind, thought, that, for cruises that happen during the school year (high school or college) there will be very few younger people on board.
  8. Sapphire. Someone else brought up on our roll call that they couldn't either, so hopefully soon.
  9. What is the date of your cruise? I am booked on a 5 February cruise and our arrival times are still not available.
  10. Favorite Princess cruise so far: 14 Day Baltic in 2016 Looking forward to: S. America on 5 February!! Land Based, we don't do a lot of them, but I would have to say the Big Island of Hawaii. Princess cruises taken: 8
  11. Well, this is what the website says: The package includes the pre-purchase of a specified number of specialty coffees (numbers vary by itinerary) during the voyage of purchase, as well as complimentary brewed coffee and hot chocolate. Guests may redeem the number of specialty coffees purchased in the package in locations where espresso is available. This will include select bar and dining areas and varies by ship and/or itinerary. Selections and service are limited to that venue’s menu offerings and operating hours.
  12. If you are looking at getting a coffee package, something to keep in mind. Back when you had a punch card, you got 15 specialty coffees, and unlimited brewed coffees as long as you had a remaining punch. Since it went digital, the amount of specialty coffees that you get (and thus the price of the package) varies and is dependent on the length of the cruise. I cannot tell you the numbers, but I do know that it is no longer a set amount.
  13. Currently only 1 as we have some things happening this year that will need our attention. February-Sapphire in S. America. Can I say PENGUINS! Multi-generational trip consisting of my in-laws, my husband and myself, our 2 sons (both in 20's) and our older son's girlfriend. First cruise for the girlfriend.
  14. It can also have to do with the length of cruise. Cruises under 16 days, for the most part, do not need to test, but cruises 16 days and over do. Also, if a 14 day itinerary can be booked as either a 14 day or a longer day, they will probably make everyone test prior to boarding.
  15. If you are flying into port and not purchasing your flights through Princess realize that the insurance through Princess only covers what was booked through Princess, so if you got your flights separately, their insurance will not cover them.
  16. It depends. We are on a 14 day sailing in February, and, according to Princess, we do not need to test prior to arrival. However, there are longer sailings that do. In fact, one that can be either 14 day or 32 days is requiring testing for all since the itinerary can be booked as either the 14 or 32 day. My advice check with your cruise line.
  17. I have had 4 knee surgeries, and probably looking at at least a couple more, and I don't have any issues with the step to get into the bathroom,
  18. That is interesting. We are doing a S. American cruise in February and purchased flexible air through EZ Air back in March, when the flights became available. Our flights have changed multiple times since then, either because the flight time changed, or one or more of our flights were cancelled. Each time, we were given new flights, without additional fare.
  19. When you added your companions booking numbers, did they accept it? In order for you to be able to see their location they need to allow you to do so, otherwise you are just traveling companions whom you are sharing tables with and such.
  20. Tests 16 days and over still requiring testing. Also, from what I saw, there is one 14 day that is requiring testing because it can be booked as a 14 day or a 33 day, so everyone needs to be tested.
  21. One one of the Princess passenger facebook pages someone said that they fell/heard a jolt in the middle of the night, and the next morning the announcement was made. Another passenger said that they didn't feel/hear anything. Anyway, there was some discussion that many believe that the ship hit something.
