Sharod, fab photos of the dragonfly. Amazing.
Shootr, now I'm hungry for something sweet. :D
-
Dileep, those are some interesting critters. I've been to plenty of beaches and have never seen an array of colour and hidden treasures like that before. Fabulous pics.
Sharod, loved the affect on the photos. Great pics.
Ravi, beautiful bird shots, as usual. The bottom one is my favorite, it looks like an artists rendition.

The pods hold 25 people but we were there early enough that there were probably only 1/2 that on our trip. They are very comfortable but I am not sure if air conditioned, it was a cooler day.
It was a beautiful, sunny and clear day so the view was amazing. The wheel travels at such a slow speed, one half hour for each loop, so slowly that it never stops even to board or disembard so it took us a minute to realize that we weren't actually moving. After 25 minutes without any communication they announce that wheelchairs and scooters should 'lock down' ... that got us a little nervous and we all quickly sat down on the bench in the middle and held on. After 45 minutes it began to move once again. No explanations were given. One of my party does not like closed in spaces but being so open it was fine, until the thought of spending any more time in there brought on a sweat. :p
Inside the 'pod'.
You are up higher than you first realize.
The London Eye from across the Thames. That is the aquarium next to it.

Dileep, very cool kite and great pics.
Ravi, that Mallard shot is brilliant.
Boeckli, good eye. ;)
Speaking of the Eye, here's one taken from the London Eye, where we were stuck and stranded on the very top for over 45 minutes!

I have been awol for a while. Very busy and not out and about with my trusty little camera. Loving all the photos. Can't go wrong with the bird and nature shots, all lovely.
Ravi, your bootcamp pics are beautiful and Blueboss, that pic of the jet is amazing.
I have just returned from a cruise to Europe. Loved it!
Thought I would share a few of the photos I took there. (sorry to disappoint, not of the typical sights).

Dileep, love the photo of Seattle through the circular cutouts. Especially nice.
Ravi, that sunset photo is beautiful. It makes me feel so serene.
All these pics are great!
(yours too Wayne, but I have already commented on that one.)
We have been experiencing above seasonal temps and very mild winter her in the city. I did catch one morning of frost on the pane of an old barn one day though.

Rav, Beautiful!!
It has been a wonderful winter so far hasn't it? We have had our first real snow just today and the lake is frozen just to the breakwater but I wouldn't risk walking on it!
-
Wow, wow, wow. That is a beautiful photograph.
Thank you. :)
I love all the pics and perspectives on here. I also love seeing what everyone is getting up to. I guess I am just nosey at heart. :p
The ice festival looks like it was a lot of fun.
Blueboss, keep enjoying your lens! Amazing.

Lovely Bird photos, especially those in flight. Happy that everyone is posting names and type of fowl. I am learning something new every day!
We have had cold and snow as well. Nothing pretty to shoot here in the city when it is so dull and overcast. Makes me enjoy your photos even more.
This may look like a beach but it is actually snow on the ground, but there was sunshine!

Beautiful photos Judy. I am not sure if I would rather take the warmer weather or the beautiful fall foliage. Unfortunately, we've had neither here in the city.
Hi Britter! That photo is lovely. Looks like it could be just up the road in High Park on the trails. :)
-
I haven't been here in a while and missed all of the fabulous shots!
Especially loving all the fall photos. Our foliage in the city wasn't very pretty this year. Still rather green and dull.
This was taken on a friend's road to his house in the country.

Teresa, I am a novice like yourself and I have only a little point and shoot. Some of the folks on here have a wonderful eye and can turn the most simplest of subjects into the most interesting works of art.
I enjoy all the tips and tutorials but mostly I just love looking at all the wonderful photos. I have used many of them as my background.
I enjoy ALL of the photos posted on the board. :)

Expecting our first grandchild....so, we need pictures!
While we were shooting, we came upon this....
I have never taken my camera for a spin at 3200 ISO before. It was heavily wooded and dark.
Beautiful photos and lovely young lady.

I can't believe the quality of some of the photos taken with Iphones. Handy little gadgets. ;)
Here are a couple of 'nature's art' taken along the Lake shore on a recent walk.

Wow, wow.... and wow!
The wildlife, bird and plant photos are amazing everyone!
Dave, very talented! The bed is really beautiful and does indeed look like it is out of a design catalogue.
Katmich, the bridal photos are really lovely, as is the bride. Looks like it was a perfect day for a wedding.

Zach, beautiful photos. I am looking for a great little camera for my husband to be able to pocket for drag racing and other outings where he doesn't want to lug a camera around. This might just be 'the one'.
Sherilyn, great zoo pics. Like you, I just like to have my camera with me and point and shoot away!!
Beautiful shots of the bird. Is that a crane? Lucky to have been able to capture him with your lens like that. :)
-
Thank you all for the very nice comments. :)
Beautiful photos. And you wonder why I am intimidated?? :p
Love the last postings by all.
Ravi, where in Canada are you that you have such an abundance of wildlife in your neighborhood? Great shots.

Excellent pics Debathome. I like the B&W processing you did on all the pics and the 3rd is my favorite of the 3. Unless you are taking a fast action scenes, any point & shoot camera can rival images taken with a DSLR. It's all in the operator not the equipment.:)
Thank you but I cannot take credit. It was mother nature. The only photo shot in B&W is the first pic of the trees and the other`s were not processed at all. That`s the kind of dark and dreary day it was! Believe it or not, the bridge photo is in colour. :p

Beautiful Pics Everyone.
I have really got to book me a Norwegian Fjord cruise. The views are stunning.
-
Thank you. :)
I am usually intimidated to post on these threads since you are all such fab photographers but it is nice to be able to share and get feedback here.
Dave, the water had some interesting dock pilings along the way.
here are a few more...

A few of mine taken on a very rainy day in Astoria last week. I have only a nice little point and shoot which suits me fine but I love all of the photos and effects that you guys achieve with your skill and camera.

Ravi, beautiful photos!
I live withing walking distance of the park but I've been on a cruise these past few weeks. I certainly hope I haven't missed all the blossoms. With all the rain we've had, everything is so lush and green right now.
