  1. It's a "luck of the draw" or "unlucky". We've always taken one, but last year on Mariner of the Seas, it was withheld until the end of the cruise. Maybe because it was a surge protector or just random? Others in our group were just fine. There was a very small table at the end of the cruise that had maybe 10 on there. Heard that if you go to Guest Services, you can borrow one during the cruise. Anyone know if this is true?
  2. Very excited - we are going on a 7 day May 18th on Empress of the Seas. First non-tropical cruise. My sis-in-law and hubby are going also, but he can't walk very far. Any suggestions of what not to miss? In search of some great Lobster Rolls and it would be perfect if there were things at each port we could see. What are some things not to miss if we leave him back on the ship? Pics look amazing!
  3. We're booked on Empress of the Seas on May 18, 2020. Live in Florida and this is our first non-tropical cruise and first time flying in instead of driving. Any tips or suggestions? Weather? Shore excursions? How dressy for 2 formal nights? What are Ship Activities (don't think there will be the regular pool games)? Looking forward to a new adventure.
