Thank you for the responses. I have been to enough business seminars that hand out lanyards with clear pockets to hold your name badge that I can take a few of those in case punching a hole won't work.
I am guessing this has probably been asked numerous times, so my apologies for asking, but when I did a search I could not find an answer. Will be boarding the Equinox in 2 weeks. Can the Sea Pass cards be punched to clip to a lanyard, or do they have a chip that will not allow a hole punch in them?
I have always received my old passport back after renewing; it has holes punched on the cover to show no longer current. I keep all of my old ones so I have a record of where I have been. Maybe this has changed - last renewed my passport in 2017.
We were staying at the hotel whether we took the rail or not, since I am flying down from Detroit, and coming in the day before. So the hotel is a fixed cost in our travel plans. With all the airline issues, I am not willing to fly in the morning of the cruise.
I contacted the hotel we are staying at the night before the cruise, and will only be paying a hair under $40 for parking with them for 8 days. Their shuttle service from the hotel to the port is $9 per person, so even with the cost of gas, we will be well under the cost of the rail service. Very disappointed, since we were looking forward to riding the train.
Anybody else looking at using Brightline Rail to get to a cruise port? Was considering using them from Orlando airport to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise the end of October, and had absolute sticker shock when I priced out the trip. I would be flying in from Detroit, and my husband would be coming from Daytona Beach and meeting me at the airport. Since I would then be flying back to Detroit from Fort Lauderdale, we would need 1 round trip ticket and 1 one-way. Priced out to over $300. Wow!
My Celebrity cruise this October will be stopping in Bimini. My first time at this island. Does anyone know if there are tours to see the formation known as the Bimini Road a/k/a Atlantis Road? I do not dive, so would be looking for some other type of tour (glass bottom boat, etc.). Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
