  1. Back to backs on Celebrity are independent cruises.  Some other lines treat them differently but on Celebrity they are two separate cruises

Various times during the  day there will be small finger sandwiches.   There are also small bites like  they serve at the elite breafkfast, or the Spa Cafe.  Cafe al Bacio may have small finger sandwiches.

On the Retreat Deck they may serve sandwiches, and burgers during the day.

    Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There is no Retreat deck on Reflection

Sometimes a specialty restaurant serves lunch, but that will vary by ship.  Sushi on 5 is on most ships and you can typically have lunch their for an additional fee.

Specialty restaurant lunches in Tuscan, Murano and Petit Chef are never offered on embarkation day although Sushi on 5 might be open that day

  4. I use and recommend Special needs at Sea 1-800-513-4515

While the scooter may fit through the door, It will be difficult in a non-accessible room.

Have you ever used a scooter? Do you know how to turn it around in very tight quarters? It isn’t just getting it into the door, It’s having it in the room with you, being able to turn it around, etc.

the bed placement is important and remember that the scooter cannot be stored out in the corridor overnight, you must keep it in the stateroom.

if your mother doesn’t regularly use a scooter, she should try one out before committing to renting one for the cruise to see if she can maneuver it in a tight space.

    Hi CC,

I was wondering - aside from the buffet and the MDR, what other places are open for a quick lunch on embarkation day? Will likely be onboard by 11/11:30am. Staying in a Celebrity Suite, so I was thinking that Michael's Club might be good - or potentially the Spa Cafe. While the buffet is good, we want to try to avoid the embarkation day rush. Thanks in advance!

No food in Michaels and Spa Xafe will probably not be open.  11:am is probably too early for Mast Grill.

cafe Al Bacio will have pasties until noon and then put out bite-sized tea sandwiches.

  6. Denny01 you have it right.  Passengers don’t sign up for a boarding time, they sign up for an arrival time. If all goes well, very little wait from the time you arrive to the time you board. But it’s also possible that you are held in the terminal for various reasons..

On the app, passengers choose arrival time, but you can’t choose your boarding time

Looking at the deck plan and having stayed nearby in an aft Cabin,  Cabin 10282, is aft and  a fairly long walk to the elevators....past almost 20 other cabin doors (you can  count them)

..I would suggest  using a walker, wheelchair,  or moving to a cabin much closer to the elevator,  which will be needed to go anyplace on the ship!

With the ship sold out, moving staterooms at this late date will probably be impossible, sorry to say.
