  1. I am LOVING these pics, thank you so much for taking the time to post them!! Hope you're having a wonderful cruise!
  2. The Cruise Director (Brian Leavitt) told me they're scheduling "Flight" to return on the Oct 9 sailing. 🙂
  3. Thanks so much @Ozark_Kid, I appreciate all the info! Bon Voyage and I hope you have a GREAT time!!
  4. Thank you so much for posting Live this week! I'll be following closely and getting on the ship next Saturday. If you have a chance, could you please post a picture of this weeks entertainment schedule? Also, could you please tell us when you were notified on your Royal Up offer being accepted?
  5. I wondered this question too. I'm assuming he'll be the CD in October?
  6. Bumping this back to the first page to see if anyone has seen/heard of invites for the Oasis test cruise yet??
  7. Bumping this thread back to page 1 to see if anyone has anymore info to share. 🙂
  8. Congratulations!! Which ship did you get an invite for? edited to add: I may have answered my own question by going back several posts. Are you going on the Allure test cruise?
  9. The tropical storm was a few days away, but we had beautiful/perfect weather. (Calm before the storm? 🙂 )
  10. I've always purchased the Surf & Stream on the Oasis class of ships and have thought it worked well. My last cruise, however, I only purchased the Surf plan and was not happy with it. I was on Freedom of the Seas with maybe 30% occupancy and the wifi was slooooow (when it would work for me). I don't know if it was the ship or the Surf plan, but when I got home, I upgraded my next cruise to include the Surf & Stream plan. That's my two cents worth and I only use the wifi for checking emails and Instagram usually. 🙂
  11. Yes, please tell!! I was wondering if invites had gone out yet for the Oasis test cruise. 🙂
  12. We just returned and the screen has a digital menu of different types of music you can select to play, or you can use bluetooth to play your own music. The cabana does have speakers that sound nice. The screen does not have TV, but can be used to call your attendant or to place an order. Our attendants were always there when needed them though and we never even thought about having to call them. 🙂 The cabanas didn't feel too close together and we couldn't hear our neighbors. The cabana to our left did block our view a little to the left, but the view straight ahead and to the right was amazing!
  13. I just received one for my Oct '21 cruise. Wish it had've been for my May '21 cruise though. 😉
  14. THREE WEEKS on the Symphony??!! That sounds like a dream come true!!!! Were you on the Eastern Caribbean that went to St Maarten, San Juan, and CocoCay? If so, would you happen to still have your Cruise Compasses for that week and be willing to share them, please? Edited to add: apologies for hijacking this thread. But I'm sure the OP would like to see some more up-to-date cruise compasses for the Symphony too. 😉😄
  15. Thanks so much for the info Biker19, a TA would make more sense for a 5 night Dinner Package. But I guess that's a new policy? We had the 5 night Dinner Package last year on our 7 night Symphony cruise.
  16. I'm sailing on the Symphony next Spring and have only seen the 3 Night Dinner Package and the UDP listed in my Cruise Planner. Just wondering if it's still offered and if anyone has seen it offered on the Symphony lately? Thanks for any info!
  17. YES! WARRRRR Eagle (even after yesterday's game)! I love my tigers. 💙 And thank you again!!
  18. Oops, my apologies! I was going to send you a private message, but I must not have enough posts to do that. My address is jbd4au at charter dot net. Thank you so much!!
  19. @AlohaLivin You're probably regretting sharing your hard work now since it's created even more work for you! But if you're still offering, I would love a copy of your map, please. 😊
  20. Thanks so much for the replies, I booked the Epic! I booked the Epic 29 Waterview King Premier room, it was around the same price as just a King Bayview room at Intercontinental. It doesn't sound like I could go wrong with either hotel. 🙂
  21. I've searched and read several opinions on both of these hotels, but I still can't make my mind up. I can book either the EPIC Hotel or the InterContinental in Miami for about the same price for one night. I'm mainly looking for a good view of the POM and a nice pool. From what I've found, here are the advantages of each: EPIC Hotel - newly refurbished, nicer looking hotel (?), private balconies with the rooms, rooftop pools InterContinental - better views of the POM, has a club level, closer to the Bayside Marketplace, and slightly closer to the POM Would anyone like to add an opinion and help me to decide which hotel to stay at before our cruise? We'll be arriving in the early afternoon the day before our cruise and I'd like to make the most of it.
  22. I received a letter today from RCI that says sailings on or after January 1, 2020, will no longer receive this offer. 😞
