  1. Thank you! I found the site very informative. I will definitely go to them once our flights are booked. Was originally thinking of a rental from the airport to the hotel, so we could have a way to get around for last minute needs (liquor store, etc.), but now thinking different.
  2. Where do I find Cruise Control? No luck so far in my searches.
  3. Not sure what time return flight is, as it is too far out to book the air. I have already looked at transportation from the airport to the hotel, minivan is looking good. Thank you for the reply.
  4. Thanks for the replies. Luckily, I have almost a year to figure this out! I will check all the options available. Just keeping my fingers crossed that we will return to some kind of normal. As long as the cruise is a go, we will be there, no matter what restrictions if any are in place.
  5. I basically have the same question. Big difference is as of right now, we have 4 adults and 1 infant. We will fly into MCO on Friday, 10/1/2021, staying at Radisson Resort at the Port, sailing on Mardi Gras on 10/2. Seriously thinking of Carnival transport back to MCO on 10/9. As I am unsure what time we will arrive at airport, what are my best options?
  6. Is anyone out there sailing with us? As of right now, we have 9 people in 4 cabins, all on Deck 9. Of the 9, 3 will be first timers. Just keeping fingers crossed that the pandemic has settled down by then!
  7. We booked 4 cabins on MG for October, 2021, 2 OS and 2 Insides, all on Deck 9. As long as it doesn't get cancelled, we will go, no matter what restrictions, if any, are in effect! I personally have not been on a ship since October 2018, and am in withdrawal!!!!
  8. We are playing the wait and see game. Our scheduled 10/2/21 cruise, we have only looked at 1 of our three scheduled ports for Carnival excursions. Depending on what restrictions may or may not be will determine what we decide to do.
  9. First cruise-Valor 2009, cruise days, 7 cruises,52 days,.
  10. Hopefully by the time our next cruise happens, (October 2021), this will not be an issue. But if it is, so be it! In our state, mandatory wearing of masks has dropped our infection rate drastically! I personally hate wearing a mask, although I am required to wear one at work every day and going anywhere in public. I also don't like the idea of not being able to leave the ship without a ship sponsored excursion, but if that is what is needed, it is not a deal breaker. My DW and I both believe that we will make whatever changes are needed, as long as we can CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I just booked the Mardi Gras. Only 702 days to go!!!!!!!
  12. We are on the same cruise. I was wondering the same. I have been checking since the hurricane, nothing yet.
  13. Thank you for the reply. I was starting to think that no one on these boards had ever stayed at this hotel!
  14. Out of our 6 cruises, we have only traveled the day of twice. On our last cruise, out of San Juan, we flew in the morning of, due to the late departure. Even though everything went fine, I will admit I was a bundle of nerves until I was on the ship! For our upcoming Pride cruise, even though we are driving in, we are still going a day early, mainly for peace of mind.
