  1. I used to do the 3 day trips on Monarch as well before she left San Pedro! If I had a crystal ball back in 2007 when I moved to LA and realized that Royal Caribbean would pull out of the short cruise market I would have done a few more. Very excited to have Navigator back in the mix after many trips on the now defunct Carnival Inspiration, the Carnival Paradise, and the former Golden Princess.
  2. Personally very excited by the news. Navigator is one of my favorite ships post-amplification and the mixture of shorter itineraries with what sounds like occasional seven night itineraries is a great way to test the market again. The option of being able to take a long weekend away without missing work is great.

I also just received a refund for a Future Cruise Deposit. Cancelled it on April 6, was told it would be 45 days, and the refund posted to my credit card sometime in the last 24 hours.
  4. No refund either. Requested a refund the same day the cruise was cancelled by Royal Caribbean. The 30-day time period mentioned in the refund request passed yesterday and nothing.
  5. I just found my invitation to the lounge from my Star Princess sailing earlier this month and while it says it is the "Exclusive Elite Lounge" on the inside of the invitation it says that it is "A special invitation for our Elite, Suite and Platinum guests" on the front of the invitation. It seems like this is a misunderstanding given that no one who is platinum on Star Princess has reported not receiving the invitation or being denied entry to the event.
  6. On the Star Princess November 1-4, 2019 sailing we received the invitation to the lounge as platinum members and attended. No idea about the verbiage on the invitation or the sign other than that the daily offering the day we attended was different than what was listed on the invitation.
