Sailing Royal in July. Are the ships sailing at 100% passenger capacity yet?

I sailed on Oasis in 2010 (Inaugural season), Allure in 2014, and Harmony in 2019. When you hear 6000+ passengers, you assume that the ship will be super crowded. No way! There are so many places to go/be on the Oasis class ships. Best tip: on embarkation day, EXPLORE EXPLORE EXPLORE!

We are doing a Bayonne to Bermuda cruise on Celebrity Summit in June. No experience with this line, previous cruisers, mostly on RCI (and one unfortunate Disney cruise). Any tips, suggestions, comments, especially regarding accessibility?

Thank you for your post. I have always been treated like royalty on Royal. I travel with my son who has multiple disabilities, and the staff cannot do enough for him. I try to develop a rapport with the staff, try to make their cruise as pleasant as they make mine. They sacrifice a lot, leaving their families for months at a time for very little pay. Kindness and courtesy always pay off.

At the risk of sounding like a dinosaur...... This is the first time I will be taking an iPad on a cruise. Is it better to pack it in my luggage or in my carry-on? Thanks!

My son is a full-time wheelchair user, and my husband is the "designated pusher". For muster, they were both escorted by a crew member to an elevator and then to the station. (Explorer, Oasis & Allure)

We are sailing to St. Kitts as part of our Eastern Caribbean cruise on Anthem of the Seas (April 2016). Because we have a full-time wheelchair user in our party, I am having difficulty finding accessible shore excursions. Is there anything "wonderful" to do in the immediate area of the port, or within a reasonable walking distance? Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Where can I find a dessert menu for Giovanni's Table on Allure of the Seas?

Does anyone know if pineapple juice is available in the main dining room (Allure of the Seas) for breakfast? It must be available somewhere on the ship for making tropical drinks, but what about breakfast?

Does anyone know if any RCI ships offer high tea?:o

I've eaten in both (Portofino - Explorer; GT - Oasis) and LOVED both! GT does seem a bit more casual food-wise, but they have a signature cocktail (on Oasis anyway) to DIE for.:D

This is one very organized cruise port. Just a note about handicapped parking: If you have a handicapped placard or license plate, and your vehicle is somehow handicapped equipped (we have a turning seat, but a ramp qualifies), parking is free.

Amen, Weelycruiser! If you only need to go up a flight (or two) or need to go down, why not use the stairs (and work off some of the buffet!) and allow room for wheelchair users. They don't have a choice in the matter; in fact, I'm sure many of them would give their lungs to be able to climb stairs.

Cruising to Nassau on Oasis. Looking for wheelchair accessible sites in area. Does anyone know if Junkanoo Beach is accessible? Are beach wheelchairs available? Thank!
