For those who are talking about downloading the airline app to receive notifications. That is a great way to stay notified, but not the only way. You can log into your account on your preferred airline. Pull up your reservation and once there look for "one time notification". type in your flight number and put either your phone # for txt notifications' or email for notifications. Either way you will be covered. If you have more than one leg on your flight you put in each flight # to receive the notifications. You will receive notifications of delays, gate changes, or canx.

It is possible to make London for the wedding. Private car service meets you at the ship and takes them to London. The only reason for a delay in docking would be bad weather in Southampton. Cheers and best of luck

Normally you type in your cabin number on the touchscreens around the ship. Once you do that your picture pops up and you can use the large touchscreens. Last time I used this was Oct 2021; they may have changed it since then

Is this the Doubletree on North Bashore Drive? So there is a Marriott there too? Is the italian restaurant in hotel or nearby?

I almost booked that hotel but chose Courtyard Mariott since it's a little closer to Bayside Marketplace

I booked Courtyard Marriott which is across street from water and walkable to the marketplace.

I think Hampton Inn Brickell is a little over a mile from the marketplace by the port. Looking at Google maps the metro Mover seems like the way to get around if you don't want to walk a mile. I'm staying at Hyatt Regency by cruise port and plan on taking taxi from airport to hotel and taxi to port next day. Taxi's are easily available and some may be regulated with flat rate to and from cruise port

Did you stay at riverwalk Marriott in San Antonio? Hopefully some more people will chime in in the next few days.

My wife and I will be sailing on Freedom of the Seas on Jan 2023. We are flying in two day prior and would love to hear about hotels near the cruise port where you can walk around and do some shopping and eat. I read there is a metrorail that transports you from the cruise port area to the Brickell area. Thanks for any recommendations. I am open to all comments. cheers
