Thanks for the help. Where do you find "On board reservations" ? I asked under Help and no results came up.

I cashed in points last May for $1000 worth of gift cards to use for our Alaskan cruise &land cruise. I could not get them to apply. I called Barclays several times and no one could help me. I am out $1000 and getting very upset. There is no record of them being in my account. ANy suggestions.

We do this often. When we have had the grand suite, we have had dinner with 6 guests. Many times I would order appetizers first. We have them with drinks on the balcony. A little later, I'd order the main course. And then a third order for dessert. As someone said, tips are very much appreciated and when you order three times with a large order, I have given nice tips with each order. It makes a very lovely dinner experience. If it is just the two of us, I order everything at the same time.

During our land portion of our cruisetour, we will be overnighting in Cairns and doing the Great Barrier Reef catamaran tour. Any idea when the tour company will inform us of a dive excursion? I hate to bring all my gear since this is the only diving I will be doing. I was thinking of bring my mask, regs, computer and wetsuit. Anyone familiar with this type of an excursion? Do we do it from the catamaran and in the same location as the people snorkeling? or does a small boat pick us up? We will be there the end of October 2023. Thanks you for any help.

No, only full suites. i wish they would change the name and eliminate suite for the mini suites. So many people think they get the suite perks. Back 30 years ago, when i called about booking a mini suite, the rep gave me a line of all these perks that sounded wonderful - even dinner with the captain. My first cruise and I believed her. I was very disappointed t=when we arrived on the ship. I am hoping she was just confused and though we were discussig full suites.

Out of the blue, I received an email last week saying our medallions had been shipped and they arrived Saturday. The date is for the November 6th. This was an Australian cruise that was canceled around the first of the year. I called Princess and they knew nothing about it. They said I could toss them give them away, sell them or whatever I want to do. No idea why they were sent but what a waste of money for postage and for the medallions.

Ilovesailingaway, Thanks for the suggestion. I just looked at that site. I did not see anything showing $134 that is a 4.2. BUT There is no way I would book a hotel without knowing the name of it. I just decided to bioked our hoitels - yes, I paid a lot more.

J603, That looks like a nice hotel. Right now prices are around $166 but for our dates, it jumps to $455 and $330. Where are they getting these prices from? Guess I just bite the bullet and book it.

I am so sick of the technical difficulties over the last couple years. Had so many issues back in June for our Alaskan cruise tour and over the last two weeks it has been a nightmare trying to book a Med honeymoon trip for our son. I usually book trips myself and then transfer them to my TA but this time I asked her for help. She was so frustrated by their mistakes.

I know prices are out of site these days so would like to keep it under $200 a night. I am looking for a hotel with transfers to Miami airport for the end of March. Mainly just to sleep. Was going to book Clarion but the reviews are not good. Thanks for any recommendations.

I know that sometimes they will have them available for tours on rainy days But there is no way they have enough for all guests. As it has been said many times here, They are only available in full suites and it might be a good idea to bring your own small one.

Has anyone had any luck using your AMEX reward points to bid on a business class flight? I just received an email from them saying Fiji air is a partner with them and offered me the perk of bidding my points for better seats. I did call and all I found out is that you can only bid once. The business class flight cost was $14,000 pp. I did a paid upgrade for better seats and paid around $1,800 pp. . I have lots of points and really would like the upgrade. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks so much for any help.

we were just there. There were four of us. One checked suitcase each and a carry on. We sent one checked suitcase on to the ship (meet me at the ship tag given to us the first night) with formal wear and kept the others with us - the checked ones needed to be put outside our door by 6:30 am each morning - they gave us special meet me tonight tags at each lodge.. We took our carry-ons with us - they put them under on the buses - plenty of room. And we took them on the train - there was a car next to ours with lots of space so the conductor put our carryons there along with many other ones. Some people are trying to make such a big deal that you can only have a small backpack - not true.

I have been trying to book excursions in Denali for months and it always showed ”schedule conflict”. I tried calling Princess and as you all know, had three hour waits and never got through to the excursion department. As soon as we arrived yesterday, I called the desk to book an ATV tour for my son and his fiancé. The lady said there was a 6:45 and 7:00 one. She said she would call over to the vendor to get the reservations. All of a sudden we got disconnected. I decided to run over to the desk so I could pay right away. When I got there, a girl asked who I talked to - I had no idea - did she even give me a name? She acted like I needed the girls name before she would do anything. I finally said - just booked the tour for us. She went in the back room and came back and said all ATV tours were sold out. So I am hoping to find a private one that has space. My son is a photographer and I want him to have a wonderful trip but it is not starting out to be very good. I found one online but have no idea where it is located or how to meet up with them because there is no detail description. Maybe I have to pay upfront but I would like to know more before I do that. do any of you know of a ATV excursion for them tonight or even a flight excursion??? thanks for any help

Yes, land first. Yes, starting in Fairbanks. I don't see any difference. 2 days for rapid and 3 for PCR. What am I missing. I have 18 test kits but prefer to have it done for us. On a roll call but no one has mentioned testing prior to land portion. I was asking if anyone has had issues - no one on roll call has done them yet.
