    We have stood right there on that dock twice in the past 18 months. Once on the Freedom and once on the MG!

    We sailed Legend a few years ago and she was in great shape. CCL keeps em up pretty good! 😜

    Book and ride it right when you board. We rode it before we ever left the port. Glad we did as it was closed a lot!

    We live an hour from the port and make it a point to go down to Fishlips a few times each year. It's our favorite restaurant down there. I think that is a solid back-up plan!

    Barbies is across the street from the beach. Google Monkeyland Puerto plata. It's pretty darn entertaining. On a side note, what part of SC are you from? We have a house and land in Bamberg County. Was just up there last weekend!

    GT we took a cab to Barbies, our favorite restaurant (hole in the wall) across the Island. AC we went to Monkeyland for the 2nd time. Very cool if you don't mind a bunch of squirrel monkeys crawling on you!

    Fantasy Class are a breeze compared to the new Excel class. Talk about a cluster!

    Just like the Alchemy menu and concept. The only other Fantasy class ship left ( Elation) has had one for years. I think some of the ones that got scrapped also had been upgraded with Alchemy. Paradise is the only ship in the fleet without it.

    We like Paradise and have cruised her several times. For the life of me I cannot understand why they didn't add Alchemy Bar on her last dry dock. That is almost a deal breaker for me in my old age! 😜

    Totally agree with this! The Emeril additions in the MDR are outstanding. Haven't had a bad one yet!

    Spirit class is our favorite by far. We have sailed them all!

    It was the Golden Olympian Dining Room a few weeks ago.

    The best perk used to be having your room ready when you got on board. Lost that one, with Covid as an excuse, but it never came back.

    This will be very informative. I've seen service dogs on a few of my cruises and always had questions. I think I'll learn a lot from your trip report!
