  1. Nothing about Covid test on the email for Oct 9th cruise. ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, We look forward to welcoming you aboard the Celebrity Edge® for your 7-Night Eastern Caribbean sailing departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Please note our itinerary has been modified as detailed below. This revised itinerary can also be found online at www.celebritycruises.com. Again, we look forward to welcoming you aboard the Celebrity Edge® for a truly incredible vacation. Sincerely, Celebrity Cruises
  2. You also have to call Celebrity, not Celebrity Air, to get an updated, adjusted invoice. Your air cost will show on the invoice.
  3. We took the shared shuttle with Capital Aeroporter from SEATAC to the Sheraton downtown. The cost was $20 pp.
  4. I booked my flight home for the transatlantic Nieuw Stendam (April 17- May1, 2022) in June. Got a terrific business class price on AA with flight ease. I wish I could say the same for a June, 2022 r/t Rome on Celebrity. Ai yi yi. Prices have really gone up.
  5. Take a look at your invoice. If your home city under Guest Information is ZZZ, you will not be able to book anything. You have to call and give them your home airport. You can change that to get different routes and prices, but first, HAL has to input a valid airport code.
  6. We took Shutter Tours a couple times. https://www.shuttertours.com/snoqualmie-falls-tour.php and took Nature Nuts this year. https://naturenutstravel.com/tour/destinations/ I liked both.
  7. I was at Salmon Etc. In July. Yes, they are open.😊
  8. Cedarbrook Lodge is wonderful. Lovely wooded setting, nice rooms, and great food at their restaurants. Stayed there three times and would book again for sure.
  9. I had a very nice experience with Delta’s premium select, but even those were not lie flat. Thanks for the correct info on BA.
  10. Looking at cruise air for next June, and came across this from AA. The price is great in premium economy if they are indeed lie flat seats, but on Seat guru, they are not. Same on the way home. What do you think?
  11. I just booked the 14 day May, 2023 cruise. No stop in Homer this time, but Kodiak, Valdez and Prince Rupert are all new to me. Very excited.🙂
  12. FT - I signed out of Delta app and got back in pretending to book a new flight. First class was available, but at $1535. My seats were much less.
  13. I feel your pain. I ended up staying overnight for a flight the next morning in order to avoid a late afternoon flight or one with two stops. There were other available good flights, but our first class tickets on them were marked as “not offered.” Note that seats were available, but just “ not offered” as an option. That’s something new to me. Previously, I was able to pick any other flight the same day ( This has happened three or four times in the past year), but now it seems to me that Delta thinks they can get more money for those seats on cruise day, so they are only offering crummy substitutions. It’s a shame because I really like Delta and will pay more to avoid American, but this “not offered” foolishness bothers me.
  14. My daughter and I used Capital AeroPorter last month with no problems. https://www.capair.com/cruise_transfers
  15. Same thing just happened to me yesterday. Delta changed my flight home from 11 am to 6:30 am, before the ship even docks. Anyway, you can change your flight on line without having to talk to anyone. Just follow the steps after you click on “modify flights”. It’s very simple to locate other flights that suit you. You won’t be able to get a refund unless you booked a refundable ticket. If you choose to cancel rather than modify your flight, you will be given a credit to use another time.
  16. Riverside Menus. There are others for lunch and brunch.
  17. I stayed at the Riverside for two weeks in March. Their restaurant downstairs was great, and they also have an open air restaurant next to the pool which was also very good. I thought both restaurants were very reasonably priced, especially for breakfast.
  18. The Ketchikan Kayak Company has a kayak tour along with an e-bike and hike that my daughter did. The guides went out with one person on each trip. I has happy that they didn’t cancel, and they were so happy to have the cruise ships back in Ketchikan. https://www.ketchikankayakco.com/
  19. Just completed the luggage valet form this morning. There is a line on the form where you tell them why you should not be charged the airline baggage fee and another line where you can provide your FF number.
  20. I bought the thermal suite pass for couples on line last week, and it was $299, same as on the ship.
  21. Reporting back on the Mt.Rainier tour with Nature Nuts. A really nice day and much more than I expected. Pick up was at 7:40 this morning, and we got back at 7:30 this evening. We had nine in our freshly detailed van on a beautiful day and walked over 13k steps according to my iWatch. The trip out and back to Rainier was about an hour and a half each way. The longest hike of the day was about three miles over two hours. We had three or four rest stops throughout the day and a delicious lunch catered by Gourmando. We saw the glaciers, a waterfall, and old growth forest. I never felt rushed. Michael was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Cold water and granola bars were available all day. Bottom line — wonderful way to get out of town and enjoy the amazing scenery of Mt. Rainier.
  22. I did, but we had a couple in the van who just walked up to the desk. They had to wait for us, but they did get a ride.
  23. Letting you know that the Aeroporter trip couldn’t have gone better. Good, polite driver, clean van. A nice luggage lift off the back so everything neatly and securely placed. They are located on the third floor between Orange and Purple. ( That will make sense if you get to the parking garage.) Our plane was late, but they called me and waited until I could get to the parking garage. No complaints.
  24. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g60878-d13836269-Reviews-Nature_Nuts_Adventure_Travel-Seattle_Washington.html Not exactly unknown. Anyway, we’re with them tomorrow for the Mt. Rainier tour. Looks like fun to me.
  25. The water taxi stops at the back of the Doubletree Galleria. Walk through their lobby, and the mall is on your left. I stayed at the Riverside in a tower room for two weeks in March. Very convenient. I thought it was actually better than right on the beach that can get very loud and crowded at night.
