  1. I wasn't expecting to find it in the gift shop but thought you might be able to get some from maintenance if needed. If it moves and it shouldn't, duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, wd-40!!! I was more worried the sand would get into the wheels and the lubricant and make them difficult to turn, hence the WD-40
  2. Cruise to the Caribbean for the first time in a few weeks. Has anyone had any issues with the sand gunking up the wheels on the stroller? Obviously I am not expecting to roll the stroller onto the beach but in many places there is sand all over. Curious if anyone has had any issues. If so were you able to find some WD40 onboard? I am sure a good spray would help.
  3. The game on the 8th will probably be on. KC NE is a big draw. The week of the 15th, I wouldn't hold your breathe, CINN NE is a nap
  4. honestly, I wouldn't. there are so many amazing bottles out there for 50 bucks or less. Better off buying 3 great bottles at $50 then that antique at 149
  5. By the time you hear it, it is too late. Weller 12 is hard to find, antique should be easier and is also an amazing pour.
  6. I haven't been on board in about 2 years (kids....), but I found different bars had different options so search around. Blanton's was by the pool. Knob Creek was in the Music hall. I can't remember what was in 270 but it was another decent option. This was on Anthem.
  7. Agreed. You have to watch the dealers like a hawk. Most couldn't read the hands once you showed it. Others forgetting to burn cards. They never knew who's action it was. I wish they had a better poker game. Wife is an early to bed type and I would love to sit at a game. Don't get me started on the rake, it makes it unplayable.
  8. That is a big assumption to make. When you just factor in the cost of the ingredients you are probably correct, however you have to factor in the overhead costs. The costs to refrigerate the product, the bartender labor costs, etc all add up. Even the cost of fuel is contributing to the drink price since the fuel is providing power for the fridge and lights. If it were possible to gather every penny that goes into the cost to the cruise line for a drink I think it would be higher than most expect. That being said, as others have pointed out, the market drives the price and the cruiseline is focused on overall profit so they don't have to drill down to every penny.

thank you, both good options to keep him entertained for a little while.
  10. I have shared a room with a friend many times. If I was paying for two people no matter what I would definitely look to bring a friend along.
  11. Does anyone know of a playground near the port? We are traveling with an 18 month old and he loves the swings and slide and we would like to let him run around a little when we get to port. We are stopping at: SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO PHILIPSBURG, ST. MAARTEN ST. JOHNS, ANTIGUA CASTRIES, ST. LUCIA BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS BASSETERRE, ST KITTS & NEVIS And would love to know if there is a park near any of those piers. I will post the same message on those boards as well

  17. Anyone have any feedback on the "Lets make chocolate" excursion at St Lucia or the "St Kitts Chocolate experience"? Any reviews or comparisons? Considering it for my wife
  18. How large an extended family? You might be able to get some perks if you are booking as a large group through a TA or direct with RCCL. Worth looking into
  19. We will be on Anthem in Dec with our 17 month old so when you get back hurry and post a review with lots of suggestions
  20. I found the garage to be much easier. The bottom of the garage is all loading space, so you bring the luggage right to a spot, then get the car and bring it to the luggage. Very easy process. The overflow will require you to drag all the luggage over to the car. As for getting a ride share. Assuming you are willing and able, you could always get the ride share to drive you as close as they can before you hit traffic and then walk from there? It might be a mile or so walk but just throwing it out there as an option
  21. Having read your last few reviews, I am curious, how many pictures of shrimp cocktail do you have?
  22. Properly fitting dress clothes can be as comfortable as jeans and a polo, however for most people some alterations might be necessary. Dress shoes can be the exception, give me the sneakers over the dress shoes any day.
  23. I have parked both on and offsite. Most of the time offsite works great and you can save some $$ but on one of our trips we got in a little late and the traffic into the pier was unbearable. It tooks HOURS for the shuttle to get in and pick up people to take them to the parking lot. Every time the shuttle made it in people were shoving and fighting over who would get on the shuttle. Eventually my buddy who is in good shape gave up and jogged the few miles to the lot and got the car. I won't risk that again so I park at the pier now. All depends how risk tolerant you are.
