  1. There is actually quite a lot of storage. We had 3 adults in the suite and didn't come close to needing a place to store something out of the way. However, all of the stuff sitting around on tables, etc. was definitely in the way lol.
  2. Oh yes, so make sure you have a little extra room in your luggage! They are sized XL, so way oversized but very nice quality and of course, gray lol.
  3. You are very welcome. Honestly, the most in the way "decor" were those 2 giant bowls of coral on the dining table!
  4. Yes, all 3 of us had the monogrammed bathrobes waiting for us in the suite. A really nice touch!

  6. This was my first time on Celebrity as well & have never sailed on NCL but only Princess, RCCL and Windstar. I can't really give tons of insight as to the ins and outs of the ship because honestly, we just thoroughly enjoyed the suite by eating breakfast in everyday and almost every dinner. We did go to Qsine one night, but ordered from Tuscan Grille the other nights. We did go to the shows, but never went to the Retreat, except to look at it the first day, the Retreat lounge or the pool deck. I was on a girl's trip with my sister & cousin, so we just enjoyed spending time on our deck & enjoying the space unless we were off the ship in port. The space in the suite is heavenly but some of the furnishings that were chosen were not comfortable, like the chairs/sofa in the living room but it certainly didn't keep us from enjoying it everyday and I would love to do it again! Service was top notch for sure from the butler, cabin steward and the entire suites crew! I have 2 other videos of the suite that were taken on embarkation day if you'd like to see them. :-) IMG_1965.MOV
  7. I was on the 4/20 sailing in the Penthouse as well and we arrived at the pier just after 11am. Dropped our luggage at the Special Delivery sign and walked right through security and up to the desk to check in. We were then escorted by the suite concierge to drop our carryon luggage in the suite and look around. We then looked around the ship before having lunch in Luminae, which opened at 12. It couldn't have been easier!
  8. I am surprised that they would spend money on this "upgrade" without thinking about how it would adversely affect the privacy of those cabin balconies and the shade for passengers at the outside bar. Sad really.
  9. Thank you for this link! I will contact several to inquire and hope that someone will be willing to pick up from the airport and drop us at our hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh.
  10. I'll be on the 4/20 sailing, so I'll try to give my thoughts afterwards. Having never sailed in it pre Revolutionized, I don't have anything to compare it to besides photos & video but I will definitely be able to see if it feels like luxury now. I know the space is the same but that's not always the criteria people are searching for when they are spending that kind of money on vacation and I know it's considered "first world problems" but still a valid concern for some.
  11. Anyone have a recommendation for a car transfer company from Heathrow to Moreton in Marsh and then from our hotel in Moreton to the Citadines Trafalgar Square London? Some have suggested the train, but I'm concerned about having to deal with all our luggage pre cruise from the airport and then again in London if we have to change trains or go up and down stairs, etc. I know it will be more costly but I'm hoping to make it less complicated. I appreciate any suggestions if you've done something similar in the past. TIA
  12. I sure hope that chair in the living room by the TV is more comfortable than it looks. Though the style of furnishings is not my taste at home, I'm looking forward to spending the week in a fresh new suite! Is anyone concerned about how these light colored furnishings will hold up over time with all the use & abuse? Stains & soil would be my concern with so much light colored upholstery & light carpet.
  13. There is a very long 42 page thread on the Princess forum with the very same issue. Princess has removed the only chair, besides the desk chair, in the balcony and below cabins. Therefore, 2 people staying in a balcony cabin can't even both sit to enjoy coffee and continental breakfast w/o someone sitting on the bed. So, looks like all of the executives have gotten together and come up with their solutions to forcing people to only sleep/shower in their cabins. The only way to get a comfortable place to sit is to upgrade to a mini suite or full suite and many can't afford to do so. Sad.
  14. I completely agree with Colo Cruiser. We have used it several times and I like being able to watch the fares and make changes until final payment. I have found the fares to be good.
