  1. I hope that by next May, those pre-tests and applications to Bermuda will be dropped. What if I can't get the results on time? My husband and I are fully vaccinated.
  2. I prefer to travel by Ferry rather than the bus.
  3. Hi All,' I read that the next season of Project Runway will be starting in October of 2021, on Bravo. It's about time.
  4. We are booked for next May, Boston to Bermuda, on the Pearl. Hopefully, this cruise will not be canceled. If we must wear masks, so be it. If NCL will require that the passengers, staff, and crew be fully vaccinated, we are ok with that.
  5. Mine is battery operated, so yes I bring it.
  6. I have a cross body by Le Sport Sac which fits my phone, and other small objects. Bought it years ago in Marshalls. I wonder if we still have the option of asking for paper versions of the ships daily activity sheet.
  7. I usually bring a pair of sneakers, hiking sandals, and dressy sandals to wear to dinner. Some activities require closed toe shoes.
  8. I hope that NCL will start sailing out of New York and Boston very soon. It's time for a come back. If vaccinations are required, that would eliminate young children from sailing?
  9. I am wondering when Cruise Ships will start their scheduled cruises to Bermuda. Will proof of vaccination be required for all passengers & crew? If so, I'd be fine with that.
  10. We take the ferry from Dockyard, when we are there on the Boston to Bermuda NCL ships.
  11. I'm OK with not having to eat frozen fish sticks in the MDR for Lunch. The Poached Salmon and other newer menu offerings are much healthier.
  12. They won't get any additional fees from us on those things, because we don't choose to do them. For the specialty restaurants, we go when they are part of our Platinum Comps, or free at sea deals.
  13. Lox & Bagels are on the breakfast menu in the MDR. At least they were on our last cruise before the Pandemic. Be sure to ask for the whole bagel, or they will serve you 1 half. In the buffet you can get a Lox & cheese mousse, which is probably cheaper for them to make.
  14. We are booked on a Boston-Bermuda cruise in May, 2022. Both of us had our first Moderna Vaccine this week, I think that by then, enough people will have been vaccinated to be able to cruise again. If the cruise lines make vaccinations mandatory for boarding, so be it. It is not just the rules of the cruise lines, but might be those of the countries that we will visit.
  15. Thank goodness that my hair dresser and my husband's barber has reopened. No more home hair-cuts for now. I hope that they never have to close down again.
  16. I do get Bravo, but never saw "So Siriano listed or advertised.
  17. I am more comfortable and look better with my bra on, be it a sports bra or regular. So yeah, I wear one every day, even if I don't go anywhere.
  18. I wear earrings all the time, every day.
  19. I always bring my sneakers, whether I wear them or pack them. Doing a lot of walking on rough terrain is easier in sneakers than sandals.
  20. I have sailed on the Dawn many times. Once, in a Deluxe Owners Suite, and mostly in Balcony cabins. The balcony cabins had walk-in showers with sliding doors, and the suite had a tub, as well as a shower stall. As others have stated, the Dawn underwent a massive drydock a few years ago and is much improved. Service, food, and entertainment was very good. The crazy bathroom layouts of the Epic keep me from sailing on her.
  21. When if ever will a new season start? Or they on hiatus because of Covid?
  22. My husband and I just got the first round of the new shingles-shot last month. I felt lousy after the shot, which I was told could happen. We'll get the second round in December. We just got our flu shots two weeks ago. Here in Massachusetts, our governor is trying to make flu shots mandatory for all school students and child care clients. People are pushing back against that, but they really shouldn't, because deaths occur from the flu as well. As for the fashion question, I'm retired and home, so Jeans & tees are my mode of dress unless we go out.
