  1. I am trying to decide between a concierge class room and a sunset veranda on the Silhouette. Are the concierge perks worthwhile?
  2. Thank you PurpleTraveller. What a wonderful review!!! You haven't made my decision any easier 😛
  3. Hallasm...from my research Flam and Geiranger seemed the most popular ports yet they are missing from the Princess cruise.
  4. Hey folks..I would like to hear your opinion. Trying to decide between Celebrity 9 Night Norwegian Fjord with stops in Stavenger, Flam, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen......or Princess 14 day Land of the Midnight Sun with stops in Bergen, Skjloden, Olden, Trondheim, Honningsvag, Trofton, Lofoten Islands and Alesund. Which would you choose and why? I would appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance
  5. I just booked this itinerary for August 2021. I am looking for suggestions as to what is a MUST SEE!!! Any suggestions?
  6. Thank you all for your responses!!! I look forward to reviewing the Currents.
  7. I have booked a cruise to Bermuda next July on the Insignia. With 5 days in port, what can I expect of the restaurants. Will they have limited openings? Will lunch be available in the GDR?
  8. The reason I chose this itinerary was for the unusual ports. I thought Holyhead, the Shetland Islands and Orkney Islands were unique while at the same time visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and Cork. Would I miss not seeing Dublin? Would I be able to cover the same sites through a destination vacation? I enjoy the ease of the cruise.
  9. I have finally decided on my British Isle cruise. However I will have to wait until July 27 2021. Sailing on the Island Princess (which will be a first for me). A rather unique itinerary...in fact this is the only sailing. Stops include Guernsey, Cork, Holyhead, Belfast, Glasgow, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Aberdeen, Edinburgh (For the Tattoo!!), Newcastle and Portland. There is no Dublin I'm afraid. I will certainly need to research Aberdeen, Newcastle and Portland but the other ports sound amazing!!! Only 700 days to go!!! Anyone have any thoughts?
  10. That you all for your responses!!! I will definitely schedule my cruise for August. I am leaning towards an itinerary with an overnight in Glasgow (Greenock) As you have all suggested the Military Tattoo sounds amazing and should not be missed! Unfortunately I don't see an itinerary in August 2020 that includes Holyhead. There is one however that includes the Shetland Islands (Lerwick). Does anyone have thoughts about that port?
  11. I'm looking into a British Isle Cruise next year but can't decide which itinerary would be best. There are a 3 different itineraries with overnights - either in Dublin, Cobh or Glasgow. Others have possible stops in Liverpool or Kirkwall. Also offered is Scottish Highlands and Wales. I would appreciate any thoughts pro and con to these choices.
