  1. Another Gem devotee...love the size & layout...sailed her 8x so far.
  2. Cruised on the Gem quite a few times & love the layout. Agree w/hladygirl as I think St. George is more quaint. There is a perfume factory there that is interesting too. And in Hamilton the public bus system is easy & inexpensive to use. Daily there are plenty of activities to join
  3. What Casofilia said for me....getting to Rome port is a pain!
  4. If you can get into NYC there are 2 hotels right on West 48 Street -1/2 block from where you enter the NCL building: Holiday Inn Express 538 West 48 Street Comfort Inn 548 West 48 Street - stayed here once, free breakfast, wifi and was comfortable and cheap
  5. Was on her twice in same cabin -- loved that ship!!
  6. On embarkation day what restaurants are open for lunch ? thanks in advance
  7. The Gem has them too...I think 6 p.m.
  8. so true; I usually try to get the cabin numbers & have the stewards deliver reminder notes.
  9. You might post on roll call if anyone wants to do a cabin crawl, slot pull or a raffle to get them interested....and I believe the minimum is 25.
  10. My first cruise on an RCL ship. What restaurants are open on embarkation day? Is the (free) Escape Room a good thing to do? Any other tips from seasoned RCLers appreciated. thanks
  11. thanks! How do you know when it is held?
  12. This is my first RCL cruise & I signed up for the Meet & Mingle. Does the ship actually have a meeting on board? If so do the officers attend? thanks
