  1. @Scoobydobe7by any chance, do you have the sheet that is usually given out the first day that shows the bio & photos of the cruise Director, the captain, the hotel, Director, etc.? When I asked for it at guest services, they still had the one from the previous cruise with Mike Hunnerup as the CD, and not Ana who we had on that November 13 sailing.
  2. @DaKahunaI did not know you could watch the safety videos together. Thanks for that info. (For some reason, I thought you login as an individual.)
  3. The health check questions are along the lines of have you had symptoms recently or been exposed to anyone with Covid recently. And I think have you traveled outside the United States recently. each individual person needs to watch the muster drill information, and then you all check in at your muster station For a three minute follow up and then they check you off the list.
  4. Instead of dressed your best to impress for a second night, it was dress in 70s style, which, of course was also 70s night in the 270 venue
  5. Agree about the$7million robots. Not well used in the book. At one point, it was used to show a shelf of books.
  6. The book is only show you can reserve. All others are walk in. I thought the performers in all shows were great! With that said, I felt the storyline of The Book wasn’t good. The beginning dragged on. Same with Effectors. Superheroes are not everyone’s taste, but the performances were great!
  7. sorry I meant By (it autocorrected to buy on my phone) Got it. I am not Diamond+ yet either so the reserved area won't apply to us. thank you
  8. Buy reserve seats for shows. I am not referring to reserving a show ahead of time in the app. When we were on the odyssey and some other ships, a crew member is holding a sign for reserve seats for suite guests, and I did not know if that included junior suites or not.
  9. Will be sailing on the Liberty in December 2024. I am surprising wife with a junior suite for the first time. Are there any extra perks that come with being in a junior suite? Reserved seats at shows?
  10. They are combinable with the 30% off discount. The visa point free cruises are not combinable with any casino discounts, Crown & Anchor discount, and the extra discount being offered on Black Friday such as the NRDdollars off.
  11. Odyssey had him in open areas last week. We did not see him in the elevators.
  12. Booked yesterday & price went down $126 today. Every bit helps.
  13. We were on Odyssey last week. The only show available to reserve was The Book. As mentioned, as you get closer, you should be able to pre-book the show. For my upcoming cruise in December, I did find my shows available online to reserve, but not in the app, yet.
  14. I appreciate all of the responses. We have been on all the classes of Royal ships including Voyager class, so I am familiar with the venues & amenities. I guess my biggest concern is whether or not the ship looks run down. Since it was amplified in 2018, I imagine that it will not. My daughter enjoys the flowrider, & we all enjoy the ice shows & the shows in the Royal Theater, & I know I won't go hungry.
  15. Possibly going to book Wonder for 2023 out of Port Canaveral if the logistics work out. Will visit family in Del Ray Beach area 1st & then would need to rent a car to drive to Port Canaveral. How close to the port are rental car drop off locations, & then how would I get from rental car drop off to the ship? Thank you in advance for any help.
  16. I know the "sales" are unpredictable, but do you think the prices to book a cruise will be any lower on Friday than they are today?
  17. We are considering booking the Adventure for 2023 because it fits into our schedule & logistics for departure port. We have been fortunate to sail newer ships in recent years. Our last 2 were Oasis after being amplified, Odyssey last week & have Symphony coming up next month. We have been on Voyager when it 1st came out, so we are familiar with the Voyager class & enjoyed it. Obviously, any cruise is better than no cruise, but will we be disappointed on an older ship after sailing newer? Has the Adventure gone through any referb./amplification, or is it scheduled for any? Any other general feedback about the Adventure would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any input.
  18. ARandomTraveler-is the 1st dinner seating 5:30 or is it actually 5:00?
  19. Thank you for the replies. I did answer honestly based on my experience. Fortunately, everything involving service was truly a 10. The crew was excellent!
  20. When filling out the survey, it asks if you were asked by any crew member to provide positive ratings/feedback on the survey? Of course, we were. Their jobs depend on getting 10s. Waiters lose tables if they get less than 10. Heck even the Maitre D during his speech in the main dining room at dinner mentioned how important it was to get a 10. Is it a big negative for the staff to mark Yes to this question? If I do, will it then ask me who requested the positive scores?
  21. Before you enter the theater for the Showgirl show, they had this very colorful program available on a table, but they only had it by 1 entrance to the theater.
  22. It wasn't too bad for me when I turned my phone sideways. I'm old school & liked to read the extra info on the compass. I still used the apps Daily Planner to select activities I was interested in, & then clicked on them to add to my calendar. I did like having them on my calendar because it would then send me a reminder (I think 10 or 15 minutes before) that I had an event coming up.
  23. Based on my experience last week, & if you are interested in the following, reserve iFLy & Northstar as soon as possible when you board the ship. Those filled up very quickly. Then reserve the show The Book. All of the other shows were not available to make a reservation.
  24. On the Odyssey last week, the cruise compass was available each day after midnight. It was not through the app. In the room, there was a card with a QR code that takes you to a website with the cruise compass. You do need to be onboard (possibly it might work in the terminal) & connected to ships WiFi (no internet package required) in order to access it.
