  4. Thanks, everyone. We have decided to wait. We don't cruise again until next May, so we'll have plenty of time before that.
  5. I have our passport renewal forms completed and ready to mail. We cruise November 2 on Mariner, visiting Coco Cay, Nassau, and Cozumel. I wanted to renew, since our passports expire 5/7/2024, so almost exactly six months later. My husband read an article this morning about renewals taking up to six months. Should we wait and renew after the cruise (and break the six months rule) or send them in and risk travelling with only a BC and DL?
  6. We will be reaching D+ on the first leg of a B2B in the fall. I know that I need to talk to the Loyalty Ambassador on the first leg to make arrangements to be recognized as D+ on the second leg. I have a question and need advice on specialty dining reservations for the second leg. I’d like to make reservations for Night 2, because it’s our anniversary. Should I wait to make reservations until we’re officially D+ and risk not being able to get a reservation or make the reservation on-line pre-cruise and try to get a refund later?
  7. I don't care what these kids wear to the DINING room, but am I the only one that is disturbed that their grandparent can't spell "'DINING"? (Sorry - I couldn't resist!)

  12. Thanks - I searched for threads on this topic and most them were about folks wanting to get their OBC cashed out without gambling. That's not what we're trying to do.

We have $500 in onboard credit on our upcoming Edge cruise (leaving Friday). my husband was planning on using most of that in the casino for table games until we saw the notice below on the app. It sounds like he won’t be able to do that. I have already pre-paid everything else. Will we lose that OBC? We have always been able to use OBC in the casino on other cruise lines.

  16. It's been a LONG time since we sailed on Freedom or Voyager class. We're doing a B2B on Mariner in the Fall. I seem to remember that in the past, you could pick up your breakfast in the 'jammer and take it into Chops (I think), where you could have a nice, quieter breakfast. They also had drink refills available. Do they still offer this on those classes of ships?
  17. Not a bad price... but...I would never buy the UDP on a small ship, especially for 10 days. You will have a really small variety of restaurants. We only purchase the UDP on an Oasis class ship.
  18. No - they are absolutely not mandatory! We are SO over masking. They make some people feel safer - to each his own.
  19. I'm pretty sure I've seen this covered before, but I've unsuccessfully tried to search for it. We will go from D to D+ on the first leg or a B2B later this year - how do we get that reflected on our account? Check in with the Loyalty Ambassador at the end of the first sailing or the beginning of the second?
