  1. I paid the 5.00 upcharge for the "JUMBO" crab cake. I was disappointed. They need to take the jumbo word off the menu. There should not be an upcharge for it either. It was about the size of an Oreo cookie and not as tasty as what we get along the Gulf coast.
  2. I have a black dress that is sleeveless, scoop neck and straight. I thought I could wear it with a couple of dressy jackets or cardigans. I also have a black crochet ruana that I thought about. Also I have a Leopard print tunic shirt that I could wear open as a jacket. The dress is a maxi-length. Does that sound okay? I even thought about dressing it down with my denim jacket. I have all kinds of jewelry that I could accessorize it with. I will be on a 14 day cruise so I thought I could wear it a few times to cut down on packing. What do y'all think?
  3. Typically The hurricanes tthat have hit the Houston-Galveston area and I just don't plan a cruise at that time. I would not want to plan a cruise at that time after what we experienced afterwards. I still have 10 months in which I can plan. But that's just me. I just never want to go through all that again
  4. Exactly! I live close to Galveston. I would never book a cruise in hurricane season. I want to be able to secure my house if one should hit my area. During hurricane Ike I prepared around my house and yard as well as I could and then evacuated with my pets. The ships coming back to Galveston went to another port. As for the people whose cars were in the parking lots around the cruise terminal found their cars completely flooded.
