  1. This has worked well for me (celiac). When we did anytime dining, I made sure to get the head waiter's name who took my order for the next day. If we went to a different dining room, it was easy for them to locate the information. I often ordered breakfast items on the hangtag in the cabin or with the app and specified gluten free toast, which they brought.
  2. Yes, I've had gluten free pizza at Alfredo's on Regal and Royal.
  3. Agree; did the same, then dealt with airline to upgrade to premium economy. Viking rep met us in Amsterdam at 6 AM and with another couple on same flight took us directly to ship, had breakfast, took a canal cruise and our cabin was ready.
  4. Finishing Amsterdam to Budapest cruise on Viking Gefjon on 8/19. No changes due to water levels, some rain at nite, a short shower a day or two, hot in Vienna today, predicted hot on Budapest. Wonderful cruise.
  5. Thanks, Wa Cruiser and 3rdCoastFan. Been to Amsterdam and have taken many ocean cruises, this is our first river cruise.
  6. Arriving in Amsterdam from ATL 5:55 AM, Viking transfer included to ship. Any ideas what to do besides resting in the ship lounge and having lunch? Not even sure what time we'll be able to board. Cabin to be ready by 3 PM
  7. Thanks, everyone, for the info. Cruising in February, elite for the first time, and looking forward to making vodka tonics and using the free laundry service.
