We cruised Allure last October with the UDP. The 5 of us agreed that Giovanni's was our favorite. We are boarding again this Sunday and are doing the 3 night plan. We are doing Giovanni's twice and Chops. I think you would enjoy all 3. The only one we would not consider again is Sabor. Everyone's taste is different.
I was wondering if we could do the same restaurant twice. The wording on the website made it seem like it had to be 3 separate venues.

I bought one because I want to bring 2 bottles of really good Cabernet. It wasn't anymore than restaurant prices & better than the cheap stuff by the glass.....oh & I was able to buy it for just one person, it looked deceiving, like you had to purchase for both people but you don't

We had a guy at our table telling us a maybe long winded story. The waiter finally pulled on the guys sleeve to stop his story to ask how the food was.
Maybe it's going too far to interrupt someone who is talking just to inquire about the food.
something similar happened to us back in 2018 My husband is in the restaurant business so we're always super nice but it just gets too much.

Hello Cruisers!
We recently completed a back to back cruise from Italy to mostly Greek Islands ports. I’ve got a very detailed trip report for you with Cruise Compass for each day, menus and food porn and more.
This was our third try for this cruise. In November 2019, my husband turned 60 and for his birthday present, our daughter reserved a Greek cruise scheduled for a few months later. Well, we all know what happened next. We tried to reschedule in 2021, but that didn't work out either. Now it finally happened!
Last August, we were able to book a cruise for June 2022, so this gave us almost a year for planning. We originally were going to do just the 7 day cruise, but in looking at the itineraries, we noticed that the cruise the following week went to different ports (only one port, Mykonos, was repeated) and we figured if we were spending the money and time to get to Italy, we might as well make the most of it. So we booked the B2B, using a big box travel agency.
I think we got a really good price on our deck 7 balcony cabin. Over the next 10 months, I checked the price many times and never saw it lower than what we paid, and by springtime it was hundreds of dollars higher per person for each leg of the B2B.
However, the big box TA that we used does not participate in the royal up program, so we were not eligible for that. I was a little jealous in the weeks before embarkation to see roll call and FB members talking about having their bids accepted, several commenting that their bids had been "weak," and some even upgraded to suites. But it's ok, we chose a balcony cabin that we would be happy with,
even without an upgrade.
We were not able to get the same cabin for both legs of the cruise. I checked cabin availability several times and called our TA a few times but was never able to get it done. We would just have to move a few doors down the hall on turnaround day.
Thanks! We were supposed to do Greek Isles in 2020 for my husband's 60th, then moved it to 2021 & then had to cancel.. I'm glad you got to go, we are hoping 2024 will be our year!

thanks, I was supposed to be doing the 9 day on the 16th but had to cancel 😞 maybe next year

We live on the east coast of FL real close to Port Canaveral and over the years we have left from Tampa more frequently than Port C. The 4/5 day cruises out of Tampa or soooo much better than the 3/4 day cruises out of Canaveral. The sail away from Tampa is another plus as well.
Me too! I love the Thurs-Monday cruises & prefer the smaller ships & it;s a super easy port

I was supposed to be on Odyssey June 6 but I had already decided to wait til next year. I'm hoping there will be some cruise reviews from the Odyssey this summer to get me excited for next May.

Delta Airlines called me about my Flight to Rome on June 1st. New covid testing protocols Get tested within 3 days before flight, get a rapid test at the airport and another when arriving in Italy. I don't see my June Odyssey cruise happening. We've already decided to go next May and right now I can do the 9 night Greek Isles for the same price I paid for the 7 night this year

We're booked for a Greek Isles cruise out of Venice in late July. We haven't booked air, hotels, or anything else. I don't think that it's going to happen.
I'm booked on the Greek Isles cruise in June & booked airfare last July cause it was such a good deal! I can change it though with no fees. I'm pretty sure we'll be going in 2022 instead

How am I supposed to get a covid test to fly home when I'm on a cruise? I think cruising Europe this summer is probably not going to happen for us

I posted it because it give a legal basis for a lawsuit.
Resorts can be open. Hotels open. Restaurants open. Trains and planes in service. But cruise lines are banned. There's legal basis for a lawsuitIt's my opinion that the reason we're not sailing right now has almost nothing to do with Covid & everything to do with the coming chaos on inauguration day & keeping our borders safe. The next couple months are gonna be a bit crazy Things should calm down by June. I have a Greek Isles cruise in June at until a few days ago I really thought we'd get to go. Now I'm not sure
