  1. The pub isn't serving food at lunchtime on embarkation day at the moment, afternoon tea is available in the restaurants.
  2. Cruise Terminals aren't really places you'd want to spend much time in, they're not like airports or even mainline train stations. Best not to arrive too early. Have a great trip
  3. Beautiful photographs everyone, I'm back at work so nothing very scenic here but this was the last sunset before we left Pembrokeshire and a beautiful one from earlier in the week.
  4. We went to Freshwater East yesterday so I could swim in the sea, it was "refreshing", Mr HH very sensibly stayed on the beach ! We managed to get lunch on our third attempt at Lawrenny Quay.
  5. It's another sunny day in Pembrokeshire, yesterday MrHH's new shed was delivered so he's happy ! We went to Little Haven for lunch, it's a beautiful spot, I don't know why we haven't been before. We had an unusual sunset last night.
  6. Things could change before you sail but these are the current charges -
  7. This thread might help as well https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2800434-cunard-covid-changes/?tab=comments#comment-61814301
  8. Only if you promise to tell us what it was like ! When are you planning to go ? It's been a grey, damp afternoon in Pembrokeshire but the sun has made a late appearance.
  9. I was commenting on your suggestion that the Southampton VTS website was incorrect.
  10. Mine is another sunset, September 13th 2019 on Queen Elizabeth docked in Reykjavik
  11. It doesn't mean they are taking passengers, most ships return to Southampton regularly for supplies.
  12. 1. Room service 2. In practice you can bring on what you like for in-cabin consumption. You can take it to a restaurant if you pay corkage 3. As above
  13. The protocols are being updated all the time, a lot can happen between now and January.
  14. That's not been mentioned by any of those who have sailed so far. The opposite in fact, those on late dining didn't even have the same table for dinner.
  15. Both statements were issued on the same day so it's unlikely that Cunard will change their date again. P&O resumed sailing earlier so perhaps that is something to do with the difference in dates. Are these are the same conditions that were in place when you booked ?
  16. It's much more like your second example, an ESTA is valid for multiple entries over a 2 year period up to a maximum of 90 days per visit. OP I would think your scenario would count as 2 separate visits and should be fine but I agree with other posters, check don't really on our best guesses.
  17. They already have New response from Cunard! Good Afternoon,"...Thank you for your email.I note your concerns around the Shore Excursions and not being able to go ashore independently.I am pleased to advise that Cunard has today announced that guests travelling on voyages from 13th October, will be able to go ashore independently but must adhere to the specific COVID-19 protocols in each destination. However, as restrictions in each destination are changeable, and some destinations may only allow cruise line organised experiences ashore, we highly recommend you do look to purchase Cunard shore experiences prior to travel ensuring you always have the option to explore each destination.Testing that may be required to go ashore in various destinations on your itinerary. These tests will be available to purchase on board.I am sure you will agree this is fantastic news and we look forward to seeing you onboard soon....." https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2796986-shore-excursion-regulations/?do=findComment&comment=61804627
  18. Thanks for reporting back, it's good to hear that you had such a good time even with the current restrictions. There's some explanation for the Yacht Club no dancing rule in this thread https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2800434-cunard-covid-changes/?do=findComment&comment=61796996
  19. It may be a charter cruise, the same Travel Agent has one on Queen Elizabeth next month.
  20. What a shame they couldn't substitute Fishguard, Pembrokeshire has had a few cruise ship visits in the last few weeks.
  21. The Caribbean portion is here, the roundtrip from Southampton just has a Transatlantic crossing at each end. https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/find-a-cruise/M201/M201
