  1. The pros this season are:

    Mark Ballas (He's back...)

    Emma Slater

    Lindsay Arnold

    Keo Motsepe

    Val Chmerkovskiy

    Peta Murgatroyd

    Maks Chmerkovskiy

    Artem Chigvintsev

    Gleb Savchenko

    Sharna Burgess

    Witney Carson

    Alan Bersten (first time pro)

So I'm not a Mark fan...; hope Alan does well (he was a great sub) and hopefully Keo and Gleb get someone they can teach. I feel like we don't get to see their full potential.

    Love all the ladies.

  2. Is it just me or are pictures no longer available on this post. I sure would like to see them. If it's me, please tell me how to fix and see them.

I don't think someone reading the post can do anything to reveal the photos. It's all related to the poster's Photobucket account.

It's because Photobucket now changed their rules and want people to pay for a higher membership to be able to post links on 3rd party outside sites.

See post 367 by the original poster above.

Other choices to post photos are: to pay to upgrade photobucket, use another storage host website like Flickr (I haven't checked it lately though) or I can post directly from my tablet using the mountain symbol (never worked with my laptop for me). Probably others I don't know about.

  3. I went into their website but when I clicked on one of the dresses I got a warning about a virus! I shut down my computer right away, so I hope nothing happens!!

Sorry, you should be fine I think. I have Kapersky installed on mom's laptop and everything opened fine.

Don't know if it was the first or second website that caused you trouble. I copied the info from the second one.

"As Strictly Weddings prepares for the much anticipated United Kingdom launch, we’ve discovered a hidden gem we had to share! For our high style brides with a penchant for vintage glamour, we introduce you to House of Mooshki, an England-based salon offering an exquisite array of bespoke gowns. “Although most will take inspiration from a specific design in our collection, each bride personalizes her dress so that it is truly unique,” says Owner Vikki McCarthy. Tailored with the finest chiffons, silks and satins from around the world, Mooshki dresses are made to measure and finished at the highest standard. In our daily pursuit of the utmost best in bridal fashion, we at Strictly Weddings are both enchanted and refreshed by their take on an elegant yet positively seductive, mid-century style.

Inspired by the old couture houses of Givenchy, Balenciaga, Dior and Chanel, Head Designer Olivia Wright says her designs draw on the 1950’s and early 60’s, an era of revelation and rebellion where young women stepped out of their mother’s shadows. “Hemlines were on the up, and as women’s confidence grew, so did their personal style – something I feel echoes the brides of today,” explains Olivia. One of their most popular looks, the Mooshki tea length dress, offers a classic A-line silhouette that is as sophisticated as it is sexy. But perhaps the most defining feature of their dress collection is the exquisite beauty of the back of their gowns. Whether a plunging backline, a semi-bare style, or a perfectly fitting silk lace overlay, these designs are made to impress at absolutely every angle during your walk down the aisle."

  4. I believe it looks to be from the House of Mooshki, 2014 fall collection.

I Googled a description of the dress and after a bit of searching found this screenshot. I put in a link to their site and it looks like the "Charlotte" style to me. The link isn't working on my tablet, so I'll screenshot the page in my next post. Good Luck!

  5. It was a fun season, see everyone in the fall!

I may pop back on to post if I see C, J or Erin in interesting dresses or wedding gowns this summer.

I'm cruising on Carnival Magic the last week of August and I think I may have to pick up a new souvenir glass if it's still available.

I think the Mirrorball would be perfect to enjoy a cocktail in while watching the show.

  6. Sorry I'm a couple days late.

Tuesday was was our season end of recreational volleyball and we went out with everyone after, then because we're on holiday this week, we stayed out late after trivia last night. I finally fast forwarded through the show this morning.

Erin's gown was too bridal for me and the top and skirt look like the lace trims are too different from each other.

I liked CarrieAnne's and J's. CarrieAnne's looks a little long again. I'll have to watch the show's beginning again where they walk in.

I liked that Heather got to perform with the pro ladies. She looked like one of them.

Loved how Charo seemed to rush for Bruno to dance with at the end.

  7. I think I like Erin's dress best, even though it's black and needs some jewelry as usual.

CarrieAnne's is a bit odd to me. Maybe if the main fabric of the dress was darker or closer to the metallic shade.

It makes me think of a figure skating costume set to Game of Thrones music.

Julianne's is way too short if that first photo is what I'm seeing. Looks like it ends right at her butt. The top is pretty, but there's a lot going on.

  8. I was also surprised last night.

Loved Nomani's jazz dance and her Grandma kissing Val on the lips. I'm not a total Val fan girl, but GO GRANDMA!

I think Rashad's rumba was the best rumba for me this season. Some are too fast.

Hopefully next weeks final dances are fun.

Erin's silver dress made her look a bit too straight with no curves too me. Haven't found a photo yet.

    I think I like CarrieAnne's floral gown.

Julianne's maybe had too much tulle happening.

I liked the concept a lot. It reminds me of pressed flowers.

I can see myself catching it on everything. Rough door frames, plants, jewelry, women wearing sequins, Bruno...

  9. Maybe we could "average out".

I've been looking for separates but they seem to fall in 2 categories -- either much too young (midriff baring prom dresses) or a bit too mature. Just saw this online at Chicos... might have to go check it out.

    Cute dress.

    Averaging out would be awesome.

Now I just have to decide it I want the extra height below the waist to make my breasts higher above my waist

    or

I could put it above the breasts and be able to wear bigger necklaces without them hiding in cleavage.

    Tough decisions!

  10. Hi all,

I don't have any pictures to share as I'm searching for 2 outfits for our upcoming cruise formal nights. We sail in 17 days so time is getting short!

I'm struggling with fit. I'm longer than average from my shoulders to waist, so anything with a waist seam doesn't seam to fit properly. In addition my actual rib cage is large so even if I can handle the seam being above my waist, if it fits around me I look like a rectangle... no curve at all!

My questions to you wonderful ladies are does anyone else struggle with this and if so can you suggest brands or places to shop?

I'm short in the torso, but I would suggest separates.

Try to find a couple dressy tops to pair with a skirt or pants.

Swing dresses might be nice if you could find the style. No waist and would flow over your ribcage.
