  1. One jealous Aussie here, would love to be cruising, will enjoy reading your adventure on the Majestic Princess, we were on her last year the last cruise before lockdown, managed 5 days instead of the 12 days. She is a lovely ship.
  2. I don't understand why the government make it mandatory it is for the flu shot, in aged care and hospitals, the vaccination programme here in Australia is a shambles.
  3. Its a good start, as I believe local cruising should be allowed, there is cruising out of Singapore for locals, I'm sure Australia and New Zealand could do local cruises.
  4. We are optimists too, we have had 4 cruises cancelled however have 4 booked.
  5. She maybe older, however, I like this size ship, not too big and not too small, with promenades to walk around, international cafe, I feel the new ships are just getting too big, won't stop me going on them however ha! ha!
  6. We were going to have a couple of days in Vancouver, when we cruised last year we had a couple of days in Vancouver and did the Capilano Suspension bridge, Gas Town, Gardens, open to ideas for Vancouver, we really liked the hotel we stayed in too.
  7. We went to Alaska last year and it was amazing, before the Covid 19 we have booked a cruise August 2021 from Vancouver to Japan 23 nights, so hoping all o.k. by then will have to wait and see.
  8. We are booked on a 6 night cruise here in Australia for our wedding anniversary 25th November, Cunard have cancelled cruising up to 23rd November, will have to wait and see. This virus may be around for a long time, so maybe shipping lines need to look at updating air-conditioning there was an article outlining steps that can be taken for nominal dollars like $200,000 to update.
  9. Feb. 2020 Majestic Princess 70% refund paid to TA just waiting for money to be paid from TA May 2020 Sapphire Princess No to cruise and No to EZ Air June 2020 Sapphire Princess FCC reinstated, no to EZ Air
  10. Refunds seem to be all over the place, we got ours for February cruise, some people have got theirs for April cruises, I guess it depends on who has been handed the work, if they are princess are working from home, that they are doing their job or not, surely they have targets they have to meet so people start getting their refunds.
  11. We received our refund for February cruise in March through TA although now waiting for TA to pass on money told 6-12 weeks from TA even though Princess refunded money, FCC was put on within couple of weeks back in March, now waiting for refunds for May and June cruises.
  12. I think they should be building this size ship they are lovely to cruise on not too big and not too small. We loved our time on the Golden Princess and have also sailed on Sapphire and Diamond, beautiful ships.
  13. This survey and the Police Commissioner's comment does concern me, we just finished watching the true story of Richard Jewel who discovered a bomb at the Atlantic Games in 1996, he was targeted as the bomber by the FBI, once the FBI thought it was him they never bothered to look for anyone else, and we all know that Richard Jewel was innocent. Is the same going to happen here they are gunning for Princess so instead of looking at all the facts they become narrow-minded.
  14. That's really disappointing so much for finding out the truth when the NSW Police Force don't ask the obvious question as it was the disembarkation that was the biggest question.
