  1. Hi all. Does anyone know if you can book with Tours Plaza when you get off the ship? Or do you have to book early in order to get a driver?? Thanks for any info.:)

  2. jkbecker4.....Last time we were in Progresso we used Autoprogresso and did the Combo Tour $39 (which includes going to Dzibilchaltun). We really enjoyed the tour and they have a beautiful cenote there. When we got back to Merida we were dropped off and had time to see a little of the city and do some shopping. The bus then picked us back up at the meeting location and took us back to Progresso. From there you take their shuttles back to the ship.

Go on an excursion of the archaeological site of Dzibilchaltun (dzeeble-chal-toon), one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Mayan world and Explore the highlights of the spectacular Mayan city of Merida.

  3. We always use EZcruiseparkingdotcom. You have the option of covered or uncovered parking and being shuttled to or walking to the terminal. Also, they are having a discount right now. Just put in the promo code ANYSAIL and you can get up to 10, 15 or $20 off. Hope that helps:)

  4. My family & I did this last year and the cab ride was $11. I booked through there web site and was not asked anything when we got there. No buffet but the entrance into the park was covered. They have several restaurants inside however. We really enjoyed our time at the park:)

  5. Hello. We used Auto-Progresso on our last cruise and did the Combo tour and we will be using them again next April. We had absolutely no problems with them or with the bus breaking down. With that said, if you are wanting to take the Chichen Itza tour (which is really far).....you should just spend the extra money & go with the Cruise Tour. That way, you do not have to worry if you are late because The Boat Will Not Leave Without the Cruise tour passengers!:D If you are doing any of the other tours....go with A.P.;)

  6. Hi Mypascalina,

We reserved it before the cruise online through their website. We printed off the receipt (be sure you do that) and had no problems.

Forgot to add they have other stuff you can do in the park like a free seal show and they have a walking trail with miniature ruins and some crocodiles, birds, lizards - (the restaurant is at the exit of this). They have free chairs for the beach part and a pool w/a bar. They also have a bar or 2 on the beach and a souvenir shop.

  7. Hi. We did the dolphin swim at Chankanaab. When you get off the boat there will be lots of taxis. They charged $11 to take us (3) to the park and it was about an 8 minute drive. We got there about 9:00 am and it felt like we were the only ones there. Once at the park they will take you to a spot to wait for others doing the same encounter as you. It is a really short briefing (10 min) and then you wait your turn to go into the water with the other people and the dolphin trainer. The amount of time in the water depends on how many are in your group. You have to wait for each person to complete their turns because everyone has about 5 different things they do with the dolphins. So, I would figure maybe 40-50 min. They have a few spots to snorkel but the water is choppy but they do have a small area that is closed in that you can use as well. They have restaurants on the property to order food. I would say for you to leave the park at 3:15 so that way you wont have to worry about getting back late.:D
